2 Chronicles 27

1 Jotham was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother was named Jerusa, daughter of Zadok.	1 υιος εικοσι πεντε ετων ιωαθαμ εν τω βασιλευσαι αυτον και δεκα εξ ετη εβασιλευσεν εν ιερουσαλημ και ονομα της μητρος αυτου ιερουσα θυγατηρ σαδωκ
2 He pleased the LORD just as his father Uzziah had done, though he did not enter the temple of the LORD; the people, however, continued to act sinfully.	2 και εποιησεν το ευθες ενωπιον κυριου κατα παντα οσα εποιησεν οζιας ο πατηρ αυτου αλλ' ουκ εισηλθεν εις τον ναον κυριου και ετι ο λαος κατεφθειρετο
3 He built the upper gate of the LORD'S house and had much construction done on the wall of Ophel.	3 αυτος ωκοδομησεν την πυλην οικου κυριου την υψηλην και εν τειχει του οφλα ωκοδομησεν πολλα
4 Moreover, he built cities in the hill country of Judah, and in the forest land he set up fortresses and towers.	4 και πολεις ωκοδομησεν εν ορει ιουδα και εν τοις δρυμοις και οικησεις και πυργους
5 He fought with the king of the Ammonites and conquered them. That year the Ammonites paid him one hundred talents of silver, together with ten thousand kors of wheat and ten thousand of barley. They brought the same to him also in the second and in the third year.	5 αυτος εμαχεσατο προς βασιλεα υιων αμμων και κατισχυσεν επ' αυτον και εδιδουν αυτω οι υιοι αμμων κατ' ενιαυτον εκατον ταλαντα αργυριου και δεκα χιλιαδας κορων πυρου και κριθων δεκα χιλιαδας ταυτα εφερεν αυτω βασιλευς αμμων κατ' ενιαυτον εν τω πρωτω ετει και τω δευτερω και τω τριτω
6 Thus Jotham continued to grow strong because he lived resolutely in the presence of the LORD, his God.	6 και κατισχυσεν ιωαθαμ οτι ητοιμασεν τας οδους αυτου εναντι κυριου θεου αυτου
7 The rest of the acts of Jotham, his wars and his activities, can be found written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.	7 και οι λοιποι λογοι ιωαθαμ και ο πολεμος και αι πραξεις αυτου ιδου γεγραμμενοι επι βιβλιω βασιλεων ιουδα και ισραηλ
8 He was twenty-five years old when he became king, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.	8 -
9 Jotham rested with his ancestors and was buried in the City of David, and his son Ahaz succeeded him as king.	9 και εκοιμηθη ιωαθαμ μετα των πατερων αυτου και εταφη εν πολει δαυιδ και εβασιλευσεν αχαζ υιος αυτου αντ' αυτου
