ΗΣΑΙΑΣ - Isaia - Isaiah 52

LXX	NEW AMERICAN BIBLE
1 εξεγειρου εξεγειρου σιων ενδυσαι την ισχυν σου σιων και ενδυσαι την δοξαν σου ιερουσαλημ πολις η αγια ουκετι προστεθησεται διελθειν δια σου απεριτμητος και ακαθαρτος	1 Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion; Put on your glorious garments, O Jerusalem, holy city. No longer shall the uncircumcised or the unclean enter you.
2 εκτιναξαι τον χουν και αναστηθι καθισον ιερουσαλημ εκδυσαι τον δεσμον του τραχηλου σου η αιχμαλωτος θυγατηρ σιων	2 Shake off the dust, ascend to the throne, Jerusalem; Loose the bonds from your neck, O captive daughter Zion!
3 οτι ταδε λεγει κυριος δωρεαν επραθητε και ου μετα αργυριου λυτρωθησεσθε	3 For thus says the LORD: You were sold for nothing, and without money you shall be redeemed.
4 ουτως λεγει κυριος εις αιγυπτον κατεβη ο λαος μου το προτερον παροικησαι εκει και εις ασσυριους βια ηχθησαν	4 Thus says the Lord GOD: To Egypt in the beginning my people went down, to sojourn there; Assyria, too, oppressed them for nought.
5 και νυν τι ωδε εστε ταδε λεγει κυριος οτι ελημφθη ο λαος μου δωρεαν θαυμαζετε και ολολυζετε ταδε λεγει κυριος δι' υμας δια παντος το ονομα μου βλασφημειται εν τοις εθνεσιν	5 But now, what am I to do here? says the LORD. My people have been taken away without redress; their rulers make a boast of it, says the LORD; all the day my name is constantly reviled.
6 δια τουτο γνωσεται ο λαος μου το ονομα μου εν τη ημερα εκεινη οτι εγω ειμι αυτος ο λαλων παρειμι	6 Therefore on that day my people shall know my renown, that it is I who have foretold it. Here I am!
7 ως ωρα επι των ορεων ως ποδες ευαγγελιζομενου ακοην ειρηνης ως ευαγγελιζομενος αγαθα οτι ακουστην ποιησω την σωτηριαν σου λεγων σιων βασιλευσει σου ο θεος	7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings glad tidings, Announcing peace, bearing good news, announcing salvation, and saying to Zion, "Your God is King!"
8 οτι φωνη των φυλασσοντων σε υψωθη και τη φωνη αμα ευφρανθησονται οτι οφθαλμοι προς οφθαλμους οψονται ηνικα αν ελεηση κυριος την σιων	8 Hark! Your watchmen raise a cry, together they shout for joy, For they see directly, before their eyes, the LORD restoring Zion.
9 ρηξατω ευφροσυνην αμα τα ερημα ιερουσαλημ οτι ηλεησεν κυριος αυτην και ερρυσατο ιερουσαλημ	9 Break out together in song, O ruins of Jerusalem! For the LORD comforts his people, he redeems Jerusalem.
10 και αποκαλυψει κυριος τον βραχιονα αυτου τον αγιον ενωπιον παντων των εθνων και οψονται παντα τα ακρα της γης την σωτηριαν την παρα του θεου	10 The LORD has bared his holy arm in the sight of all the nations; All the ends of the earth will behold the salvation of our God.
11 αποστητε αποστητε εξελθατε εκειθεν και ακαθαρτου μη απτεσθε εξελθατε εκ μεσου αυτης αφορισθητε οι φεροντες τα σκευη κυριου	11 Depart, depart, come forth from there, touch nothing unclean! Out from there! Purify yourselves, you who carry the vessels of the LORD.
12 οτι ου μετα ταραχης εξελευσεσθε ουδε φυγη πορευσεσθε πορευσεται γαρ προτερος υμων κυριος και ο επισυναγων υμας κυριος ο θεος ισραηλ	12 Yet not in fearful haste will you come out, nor leave in headlong flight, For the LORD comes before you, and your rear guard is the God of Israel.
13 ιδου συνησει ο παις μου και υψωθησεται και δοξασθησεται σφοδρα	13 See, my servant shall prosper, he shall be raised high and greatly exalted.
14 ον τροπον εκστησονται επι σε πολλοι ουτως αδοξησει απο ανθρωπων το ειδος σου και η δοξα σου απο των ανθρωπων	14 Even as many were amazed at him-- so marred was his look beyond that of man, and his appearance beyond that of mortals--
15 ουτως θαυμασονται εθνη πολλα επ' αυτω και συνεξουσιν βασιλεις το στομα αυτων οτι οις ουκ ανηγγελη περι αυτου οψονται και οι ουκ ακηκοασιν συνησουσιν	15 So shall he startle many nations, because of him kings shall stand speechless; For those who have not been told shall see, those who have not heard shall ponder it.
