LXXKING JAMES BIBLE
εγω ανθος του πεδιου κρινον των κοιλαδων1 I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.
ως κρινον εν μεσω ακανθων ουτως η πλησιον μου ανα μεσον των θυγατερων2 As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters.
ως μηλον εν τοις ξυλοις του δρυμου ουτως αδελφιδος μου ανα μεσον των υιων εν τη σκια αυτου επεθυμησα και εκαθισα και καρπος αυτου γλυκυς εν λαρυγγι μου3 As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.
εισαγαγετε με εις οικον του οινου ταξατε επ' εμε αγαπην4 He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.
στηρισατε με εν αμοραις στοιβασατε με εν μηλοις οτι τετρωμενη αγαπης εγω5 Stay me with flagons, comfort me with apples: for I am sick of love.
ευωνυμος αυτου υπο την κεφαλην μου και η δεξια αυτου περιλημψεται με6 His left hand is under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.
ωρκισα υμας θυγατερες ιερουσαλημ εν ταις δυναμεσιν και εν ταις ισχυσεσιν του αγρου εαν εγειρητε και εξεγειρητε την αγαπην εως ου θεληση7 I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.
φωνη αδελφιδου μου ιδου ουτος ηκει πηδων επι τα ορη διαλλομενος επι τους βουνους8 The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.
ομοιος εστιν αδελφιδος μου τη δορκαδι η νεβρω ελαφων επι τα ορη βαιθηλ ιδου ουτος εστηκεν οπισω του τοιχου ημων παρακυπτων δια των θυριδων εκκυπτων δια των δικτυων9 My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice.
αποκρινεται αδελφιδος μου και λεγει μοι αναστα ελθε η πλησιον μου καλη μου περιστερα μου10 My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.
οτι ιδου ο χειμων παρηλθεν ο υετος απηλθεν επορευθη εαυτω11 For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
τα ανθη ωφθη εν τη γη καιρος της τομης εφθακεν φωνη του τρυγονος ηκουσθη εν τη γη ημων12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
η συκη εξηνεγκεν ολυνθους αυτης αι αμπελοι κυπριζουσιν εδωκαν οσμην αναστα ελθε η πλησιον μου καλη μου περιστερα μου13 The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
και ελθε συ περιστερα μου εν σκεπη της πετρας εχομενα του προτειχισματος δειξον μοι την οψιν σου και ακουτισον με την φωνην σου οτι η φωνη σου ηδεια και η οψις σου ωραια14 O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.
πιασατε ημιν αλωπεκας μικρους αφανιζοντας αμπελωνας και αι αμπελοι ημων κυπριζουσιν15 Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.
αδελφιδος μου εμοι καγω αυτω ο ποιμαινων εν τοις κρινοις16 My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth among the lilies.
εως ου διαπνευση η ημερα και κινηθωσιν αι σκιαι αποστρεψον ομοιωθητι συ αδελφιδε μου τω δορκωνι η νεβρω ελαφων επι ορη κοιλωματων17 Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.
