KING JAMES BIBLENEW AMERICAN BIBLE
Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.1 A song of ascents. Out of the depths I call to you, LORD;
Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.2 Lord, hear my cry! May your ears be attentive to my cry for mercy.
If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?3 If you, LORD, mark our sins, Lord, who can stand?
But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.4 But with you is forgiveness and so you are revered.
I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.5 I wait with longing for the LORD, my soul waits for his word.
My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.6 My soul looks for the Lord more than sentinels for daybreak. More than sentinels for daybreak,
Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.7 let Israel look for the LORD, For with the LORD is kindness, with him is full redemption,
And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.8 And God will redeem Israel from all their sins.
