1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.	1 Di Davide. Salmo. Oracolo del Signore al mio signore: "Siedi alla mia destra, finché io ponga i tuoi nemici a sgabello dei tuoi piedi".
2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.	2 Lo scettro della tua potenza stenda il Signore da Sion perché tu domini in mezzo ai tuoi nemici.
3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.	3 Il tuo popolo sta pronto nel giorno del tuo valore, in sacri splendori, dal grembo dell'aurora, per te è il fiore della tua gioventù.
4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.	4 Il Signore ha giurato e non si pente: "Tu sei sacerdote per sempre secondo l'ordine di Melchisedek".
5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.	5 Il Signore starà alla tua destra: abbatterà i re nel giorno della sua ira.
6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.	6 Eseguirà il giudizio fra le genti, ammucchierà cadaveri, abbatterà le teste su vasta regione.
7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.	7 Lungo la via berrà al torrente, per questo solleverà il capo.
