1 These are the kings, whom the children of Israel slew and possessed their land beyond the Jordan towards the rising of the sun, from the torrent Arnon unto mount Hermon, and all the east country that looketh towards the wilderness.	1 Voici les rois du pays que les Israélites avaient battus au-delà du Jourdain à l’est, depuis le torrent de l’Arnon jusqu’à la montagne de l’Hermon, avec toute la Araba à l’est (Israël s’était emparé de leurs territoires):
2 Sehon king of the Amorrhites, who dwelt in Hesebon, and had dominion from Aroer, which is seated upon the bank of the torrent Arnon, and of the middle part in the valley, and of half Galaad, as far as the torrent Jaboc, which is the border of the children of Ammon.	2 Sihon, roi des Amorites, qui habitait Heshbon. Son royaume commençait à Aroër, sur le bord de la vallée de l’Arnon; il comprenait le fond de la vallée, la moitié de Galaad jusqu’au Yabok, le torrent qui marque la frontière avec les Ammonites,
3 And from the wilderness, to the sea of Ceneroth towards the east, and to the sea of the wilderness, which is the most salt sea, on the east side by the way that leadeth to Bethsimoth: and on the south side that lieth under Asedoth, Phasga.	3 la Araba jusqu’à la mer de Kinnérot à l’est et jusqu’à la mer de la Araba ou Mer Salée à l’est, en direction de Beth-Ha-Yéchimot, et au sud, le bas des coteaux du Pisga.
4 The border of Og the king of Basan, of the remnant of the Raphaims who dwelt in Astaroth, and in Edrai, and had dominion in mount Hermon, and in Salecha, and in all Basan, unto the herders	4 Og, roi du Bashan, un des derniers Réphaïm. Il résidait à Achtarot et à Édréï.
5 Of Gessuri and Machati, and of half Galaad: the borders of Sehon the king of Hesebon.	5 Son royaume commençait au mont Hermon avec Salka; il comprenait tout le Bashan jusqu’à la frontière des Guéchourites et des Maakatites, et la moitié de Galaad jusqu’à la frontière de Sihon, roi de Heshbon.
6 Moses the servant of the Lord, and the children of Israel slew them, and Moses delivered their land in possession to the Rubenites, and Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasses.	6 Moïse, le serviteur de Yahvé, et les Israélites les avaient vaincus, et Moïse avait donné leur territoire en possession à la tribu de Ruben, à celle de Gad et à la demi-tribu de Manassé.
7 These are the kings of the land, whom Josue and the children of Israel slew beyond the Jordan on the west side from Baalgad in the held of Libanus, unto the mount, part of which goeth up into Seir: and Josue delivered it in possession to the tribes of Israel, to every one their divisions,	7 Voici la liste des rois du pays que Josué et les Israélites battirent de ce côté-ci du Jourdain, à l’ouest, depuis Baal-Gad dans la vallée du Liban jusqu’au mont Pelé qui se dresse à côté de Séïr. Josué distribua leurs terres et en fit l’héritage des tribus d’Israël,
8 As well in the mountains as in the plains and the champaign countries. In Asedoth, and in the wilderness, and in the south was the Hethite and the Amorrhite, the Chanaanite and the Pherezite, the Hevite and the Jebusite.	8 que ce soit dans la montagne ou dans le Bas-Pays, dans la Araba ou sur les coteaux arrosés, au désert et au Négueb, chez les Hittites, les Amorites, les Cananéens, les Périsites, les Hivvites et les Jébusites:

23 The king of Dor, and of the province of Dor one, the king of the nations of Galgal one,	23 le roi de Dor, sur les coteaux de Dor, un; le roi des nations en Galilée, un;
