DOUAI-RHEIMSBIBLIA
And he brought me forth into the outward court by the way that leadeth to the north, and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate building, and over against the house toward the north.1 Luego me hizo salir al atrio exterior, hacia el norte, y me llevó a las salas situadas cara al patio, es decir frente al edificio, al norte.
In the face of the north door was the length of a hundred cubits, and the breadth of fifty cubits.2 La longitud era de cien codos, hacia el norte, y la anchura de cincuenta codos.
Over against the twenty cubits of the inner court, and over against the pavement of the outward court that was paved with stone, where there was a gallery joined to a triple gallery.3 Frente a los pórticos del atrio interior, y frente al enlosado del atrio exterior, había una galería a lo largo de la galería triple,
And before the chambers was a walk ten cubits broad, looking to the inner parts of a way of one cubit. And their doors were toward the north.4 y, por delante de las salas, un corredor de diez codos de ancho hacia el interior, y cien codos de largo; sus puertas daban al norte.
Where were the store chambers lower above: because they bore up the galleries, which appeared above out of them from the lower parts, and from the midst of the building.5 Las salas superiores eran estrechas, porque las galerías les comían parte de su espacio, más estrechas que las de abajo y las del medio del edificio,
For they were of three stories, and had not pillars, as the pillars of the courts: therefore did they appear above out of the lower places, and out of the middle places, fifty cubits from the ground.6 porque estaban divididas en tres pisos y no tenían columnas como el atrio. Por eso, se iban estrechando con relación a las de abajo y las del medio (a partir del suelo).
And the outward wall that went about by the chambers, which were towards the outward court on the forepart of the chambers, was fifty cubits long.7 Y el muro exterior, paralelo a las salas, en dirección al atrio exterior, frente a las salas, tenía cincuenta codos de longitud.
For the length of the chambers of the outward court was fifty cubits: and the length before the face of the temple, a hundred cubits.8 Pues la longitud de las salas que daban al atrio exterior era de cincuenta codos, mientras que las que miraban al Santo tenían cien codos.
And there was under these chambers, an entrance from the east, for them that went into them out of the outward court.9 Por debajo de las salas había una entrada del lado de oriente, que daba acceso desde el atrio exterior.
In the breadth of the outward wall of the court that was toward the east, over against the separate building, and there were chambers before the building.10 A todo lo largo del muro del atrio, en dirección del mediodía, cara al patio y al edificio, había salas.
And the way before them was like the chambers which were toward the north: they wore as long as they, and as broad as they: and all the going is to them, and their fashions, and their doors were alike.11 Un corredor pasaba por delante de ellas, como en las salas situadas en dirección norte; tenían igual longitud e igual anchura; iguales salidas, igual disposición y entradas iguales.
According to the doors of the chambers that were towards the south : there was a door in the head of the way, which way was before the porch, separated towards the east as one entereth in.12 Por debajo de las salas orientadas al mediodía había una entrada al comienzo de cada corredor, frente al muro situado hacia oriente, según se entra.
And he said to me: The chambers of the north, and the chambers of the south, which are before the separate building: they are holy chambers, in which the priests shall eat, that approach to the Lord into the holy of holies: there they shall lay the most holy things, and the offering for sin, and for trespass: for it is a holy place.13 El me dijo: «Las salas del norte y las salas del mediodía que miran al patio son las salas del Santuario, donde los sacerdotes que se acercan a Yahveh comerán las cosas sacratísimas. Allí depositarán las cosas sacratísimas, la oblación, el sacrificio por el pecado y el sacrificio de expiación, porque es un lugar santo.
And when the priests shall have entered in, they shall not go out of the holy places into the outward court: but there they shall lay their vestments, wherein they minister, for they are holy: and they shall put on other garments, and so they shall go forth to the people.14 Y cuando los sacerdotes entren allí, no saldrán del santuario al atrio exterior sin haber dejado allí sus vestiduras litúrgicas, porque estas vestiduras son santas; para acercarse a los lugares destinados al pueblo se pondrán otras ropas».
Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me out by the way of the gate that looked toward the east: and he measured it on every side round about.15 Cuando acabó de medir el interior de la Casa, me hizo salir en dirección al pórtico que mira a oriente y midió todo el ámbito.
And he measured toward the east with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds with the measuring reed round about.16 Midió el lado oriental con su vara de medir: quinientos codos de perímetro, con la vara de medir.
And he measured toward the north five hundred reeds with the measuring reed round about.17 Luego midió el lado norte con la vara de medir: quinientos codos de perímetro.
And towards the south he measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed round about.18 Después midió el lado sur con la vara de medir: quinientos codos
And toward the west he measured five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed.19 de perímetro. Por el lado occidental midió con la vara de medir: quinientos codos.
By the four winds he measured the wall thereof on every side round about, five hundred cubits long and five hundred cubits broad, making a separation between the sanctuary and the place of the people.20 Midió por fin por los cuatro lados el muro que lo cercaba, todo alrededor: longitud, quinientos; anchura, quinientos; para separar lo sagrado de lo profano.
