Jeremiah 15

1 And the Lord said to me: If Moses and Samuel shall stand before me, my soul is not towards this people: cast them out from my sight, and let them go forth.	1 Και ειπε Κυριος προς εμε, Και αν ο Μωυσης και ο Σαμουηλ ισταντο ενωπιον μου, η ψυχη μου δεν ηθελεν εισθαι υπερ του λαου τουτου? αποδιωξον αυτους απ' εμπροσθεν μου και ας εξελθωσι.
2 And if they shall say unto thee: Whither shall we go forth? thou shalt say to them: Thus saith the Lord: Such as are for death, to death: and such as are to the sword, to the sword: and such as are for famine, to famine: and such as are to captivity, to captivity.	2 Και εαν ειπωσι προς σε, Που θελομεν εξελθει; τοτε θελεις ειπει προς αυτους, Ουτω λεγει Κυριος? Οσοι ειναι δια τον θανατον, εις θανατον? και οσοι δια την μαχαιραν, εις μαχαιραν? και οσοι δια την πειναν, εις πειναν? και οσοι δια την αιχμαλωσιαν, εις αιχμαλωσιαν.
3 And I will visit them with four kinds, saith the Lord: The sword to kill, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the air, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.	3 Και θελω επιφερει επ' αυτους τεσσαρα ειδη, λεγει Κυριος? την μαχαιραν δια σφαγην, και τους κυνας δια σπαραγμον, και τα πετεινα του ουρανου, και τα θηρια της γης, δια να καταφαγωσι και να αφανισωσι.
4 And I will give them up to the rage of all the kingdoms of the earth: because of Manasses the son of Ezechias the king of Juda, for all that he did in Jerusalem.	4 Και θελω παραδωσει αυτους εις διασποραν εν πασι τοις βασιλειοις της γης? εξ αιτιας του Μανασση, υιου Εζεκιου βασιλεως του Ιουδα, δι' οσα επραξεν εν Ιερουσαλημ.
5 For who shall have pity on thee, O Jerusalem? or who shall bemoan thee? or who shall go to pray for thy peace?	5 Διοτι τις θελει σε οικτειρει, Ιερουσαλημ; η τις θελει σε συλλυπηθη; η τις θελει στραφη δια να ερωτηση, Πως εχεις;
6 Thou hast forsaken me, saith the Lord, thou art gone backward: and I will stretch out my hand against thee, and I will destroy thee: I am weary of entreating thee.	6 Συ με εγκατελιπες, λεγει Κυριος, υπηγες εις τα οπισω? δια τουτο θελω εκτεινει την χειρα μου επι σε και θελω σε αφανισει? απεκαμον ελεων.
7 And I will scatter them with a fan in the gates of the land: I have killed and destroyed my people, and yet they are not returned form their ways.	7 Και θελω εκλικμησει αυτους με το λικμητηριον εν ταις πυλαις της γης? θελω ατεκνωσει αυτους, θελω αφανισει τον λαον μου, διοτι δεν επιστρεφουσιν απο των οδων αυτων.
8 Their widows are multiplied unto me above the sand of the sea: I have brought upon them against the mother of the young man a spoiler at noonday: I have cast a terror on a sudden upon the cities.	8 Αι χηραι αυτων επληθυνθησαν ενωπιον μου υπερ την αμμον της θαλασσης? εφερα επ' αυτους, επι τας μητερας των νεων, λεηλατην εν μεσημβρια? επεφερα επ' αυτας εξαιφνης ταραχας και τρομους.
9 She that hath borne seven is become weak, her soul hath fainted away: her sun is gone down, while it was yet day: she is confounded, and ashamed: and the residue of them I will give up to the sword in the sight of their enemies, saith the Lord.	9 Εκεινη, ητις εγεννησεν επτα, απεκαμε, παρεδωκε το πνευμα? ο ηλιος αυτης εδυσεν, ενω, ητο ετι ημερα? κατησχυνθη και εταραχθη? το δε υπολοιπον αυτων θελω παραδωσει εις την μαχαιραν εμπροσθεν των εχθρων αυτων, λεγει Κυριος.
10 Woe is me, my mother: why hast thou borne me a man of strife, a man of contention to all the earth? I have not lent on usury, neither hath any man lent to me on usury: yet all curse me.	10 Ουαι εις εμε, μητερ μου, διοτι εγεννησας εμε ανδρα εριδος και ανδρα φιλονεικιας μεθ' ολης της γης. Ουτε ετοκισα ουτε με ετοκισαν? και ομως πας τις εξ αυτων με καταραται.
11 The Lord saith to me: Assuredly it shall be well with thy remnant, assuredly I shall help thee in the time of affliction, and in the time of tribulation against the enemy.	11 Ο Κυριος λεγει, Βεβαιως το υπολοιπον σου θελει εισθαι καλον? βεβαιως θελω μεσιτευσει υπερ σου προς τον εχθρον εν καιρω συμφορας και εν καιρω θλιψεως.
12 Shall iron be allied with the iron from the north, and the brass?	12 Ο σιδηρος θελει συντριψει τον σιδηρον του βορρα και τον χαλκον;
13 Thy riches and thy treasures I will give unto spoil for nothing, because of all thy sins, even in all thy borders.	13 Τα υπαρχοντα σου και τους θησαυρους σου θελω παραδωσει εις λεηλασιαν ανευ ανταλλαγματος, και τουτο δια πασας τας αμαρτιας σου και κατα παντα τα ορια σου.
14 And I will bring thy enemies out of a land, which thou knowest not: for a fire is kindled in my rage, it shall burn upon you.	14 Και θελω σε περασει μετα των εχθρων σου εις τοπον τον οποιον δεν γνωριζεις? διοτι πυρ εξηφθη εν τω θυμω μου, το οποιον θελει εκκαυθη καθ' υμων.
15 O Lord, thou knowest, remember me, and visit me, and defend me from them that persecute me, do not defend me in thy patience: know that for thy sake I have sufferred reproach.	15 Συ, Κυριε, γνωριζεις? ενθυμηθητι με και επισκεψαι με και εκδικησον με απο των καταδιωκοντων με? μη με αρπασης εν τη μακροθυμια σου? γνωρισον οτι δια σε υπεφερα ονειδισμον.
16 Thy words were found, and I did eat them, and thy word was to me a joy and gladness of my heart: for thy name is called upon me, O Lord God of hosts.	16 Καθως ευρεθησαν οι λογοι σου, κατεφαγον αυτους? και ο λογος σου ητο εν εμοι χαρα και αγαλλιασις της καρδιας μου? διοτι το ονομα σου εκληθη επ' εμε, Κυριε Θεε των δυναμεων.
17 I sat not in the assembly of jesters, nor did I make a boast of the presence of thy hand: I sat alone, because thou hast filled me with threats.	17 Δεν εκαθησα εν συνεδριω χλευαστων και συνευφρανθην? εκαθησα μονος εξ αιτιας της χειρος σου? διοτι συ με ενεπλησας αδημονιας.
18 Why is my sorrow become perpetual, and my wound desperate so as to refuse to be healed? it is become to me as the falsehood of deceitful waters that cannot be trusted.	18 Δια τι ο πονος μου ειναι παντοτεινος και η πληγη μου ανιατος, μη θελουσα να ιατρευθη; θελεις εισθαι διολου εις εμε ως ψευστης και ως υδατα απατηλα;
19 Therefore thus saith the Lord: If thou wilt be converted, I will convert thee, and thou shalt stand before my face; and if thou wilt separate the precious from the vile, thou shalt be as my mouth: they shall be turned to thee, and thou shalt not be turned to them.	19 Δια τουτο ουτω λεγει Κυριος? Εαν επιστρεψης, τοτε θελω σε αποκαταστησει παλιν, και θελεις ιστασθαι ενωπιον μου? και εαν αποχωρισης το τιμιον απο του αχρειου, θελεις εισθαι ως το στομα μου? αυτοι ας επιστρεψωσι προς σε, αλλα συ με επιστρεψης προς αυτους.
20 And I will make thee to this people as a strong wall of brass: and they shall fight against thee, and shall not prevail: for I am with thee to save thee, and to deliver thee, saith the Lord.	20 Και θελω σε καμει προς τουτον τον λαον οχυρον χαλκουν τειχος? και θελουσι σε πολεμησει, αλλα δεν θελουσιν υπερισχυσει εναντιον σου, διοτι εγω ειμαι μετα σου δια να σε σωζω και να σε ελευθερονω, λεγει Κυριος.
21 And I will deliver thee out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem thee out of the hand of the mighty.	21 Και θελω σε ελευθερωσει εκ της χειρος των πονηρων και θελω σε λυτρωσει εκ της χειρος των καταδυναστευοντων.
