Psalms 96

1 A canticle for David himself, when the house was built after the captivity. Sing ye to the Lord a new canticle: sing to the Lord, all the earth.	1 Fece questo salmo David, quando la sua terra li fu restituita. Il Signore ha regnato, rallegrasi la terra; si. rallegraranno le molte insule.
2 Sing ye to the Lord and bless his name: shew forth his salvation from day to day.	2 Intorno a lui è la nube e oscurità; la giustizia e giudicio saranno castigamento della sua sedia.
3 Declare his glory among the Gentiles: his wonders among all people.	3 Dinanzi a lui andarà il fuoco, e bruciarà li nemici suoi dintorno a lui.
4 For the Lord is great, and exceedingly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.	4 Risplendettero le fulgora sue al circuito della terra; vide la terra, e fu commossa.
5 For all the gods of the Gentiles are devils: but the Lord made the heavens.	5 Come cera si squagliorono li monti dalla faccia del Signore; dalla faccia del Signore ogni terra.
6 Praise and beauty are before him: holiness and majesty in his sanctuary.	6 Raccontorono li cieli la giustizia sua; e videro tutti li popoli la gloria sua.
7 Bring ye to the Lord, O ye kindreds of the Gentiles, bring ye to the Lord glory and honour:	7 Siano confusi tutti che adorano gli idoli sculti, e coloro che si gloriano nelli falsi di suoi. Adoratelo tutti, voi angeli suoi.
8 bring to the Lord glory unto his name. Bring up sacrifices, and come into his courts:	8 Sion hallo udito, ed è fatta lieta. E allegransi gli figliuoli di Giuda, o Signore, per gli giudicii tuoi.
9 adore ye the Lord in his holy court. Let all the earth be moved at his presence.	9 Però che tu sei Altissimo Signore sopra ogni terra; molto se' esaltato sopra tutti li dii.
10 Say ye among the Gentiles, the Lord hath reigned. For he hath corrected the world, which shall not be moved: he will judge the people with justice.	10 Voi che amate il Signore, abbiate in odio il male; il Signore guarda le anime de' suoi santi; della mano del peccatore liberarà quelli.
11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad, let the sea be moved, and the fulness thereof:	11 Nasciuta è la luce al giusto, e la letizia alli dritti del cuore.
12 the fields and all things that are in them shall be joyful. Then shall all the trees of the woods rejoice	12 Rallegratevi, giusti, nel Signore; confessate alla memoria della santificazione sua.
13 before the face of the Lord, because he cometh: because he cometh to judge the earth. He shall judge the world with justice, and the people with his truth.
