Psalms 70

DOUAI-RHEIMS	SAGRADA BIBLIA
1 Unto the end, a psalm for David, to bring to remembrance that the Lord saved him.	1 Ao mestre de canto. De Davi. Para servir de lembrança. Comprazei-vos, ó Deus, em me livrar; depressa, Senhor, vinde em meu auxílio.
2 O God, come to my assistance; O Lord, make haste to help me.	2 Sejam confundidos e humilhados os que odeiam a minha vida. Recuem e corem de vergonha os que se comprazem com meus males.
3 Let them be confounded and ashamed that seek my soul:	3 Afastem-se, cobertos de confusão, os que me dizem: Ah! Ah!
4 Let them be turned backward, and blush for shame that desire evils to me: Let them be presently turned away blushing for shame that say to me: 'T is well, 't is well.	4 Pelo contrário, exultem e se alegrem em vós todos os que vos procuram. Que repitam sem cessar: Glória ao Senhor! aqueles que desejam vosso auxílio.
5 Let all that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; and let such as love thy salvation say always: The Lord be magnified.	5 Quanto a mim, sou pobre e desvalido. Socorrei-me, ó Deus, sois meu protetor e libertador. Senhor, não tardeis mais.
6 But I am needy and poor; O God, help me. Thou art my helper and my deliverer: O Lord, make no delay.
