Psalms 26

1 Unto the end, a psalm for David. Judge me, O Lord, for I have walked in my innocence: and I have put my trust in the Lord, and shall not be weakened.	1 לְדָוִד ׀ שָׁפְטֵנִי יְהוָה כִּי־אֲנִי בְּתֻמִּי הָלַכְתִּי וּבַיהוָה בָּטַחְתִּי לֹא אֶמְעָד
2 Prove me, O Lord, and try me; burn my reins and my heart.	2 בְּחָנֵנִי יְהוָה וְנַסֵּנִי [צְרֹופָה כ] (צָרְפָה ק) כִלְיֹותַי וְלִבִּי
3 For thy mercy is before my eyes; and I am well pleased with thy truth.	3 כִּי־חַסְדְּךָ לְנֶגֶד עֵינָי וְהִתְהַלַּכְתִּי בַּאֲמִתֶּךָ
4 I have not sat with the council of vanity: neither will I go in with the doers of unjust things.	4 לֹא־יָשַׁבְתִּי עִם־מְתֵי־שָׁוְא וְעִם נַעֲלָמִים לֹא אָבֹוא
5 I have hated the assembly of the malignant; and with the wicked I will not sit.	5 נֵאתִי קְהַל מְרֵעִים וְעִם־רְשָׁעִים לֹא אֵשֵׁב
6 I will wash my hands among the innocent; and will compass thy altar, O Lord:	6 אֶרְחַץ בְּנִקָּיֹון כַּפָּי וַאֲסֹבְבָה אֶת־מִזְבַּחֲךָ יְהוָה
7 That I may hear the voice of thy praise: and tell of all thy wondrous works.	7 לַשְׁמִעַ בְּקֹול תֹּודָה וּלְסַפֵּר כָּל־נִפְלְאֹותֶיךָ
8 I have loved, O Lord, the beauty of thy house; and the place where thy glory dwelleth.	8 יְהוָה אָהַבְתִּי מְעֹון בֵּיתֶךָ וּמְקֹום מִשְׁכַּן כְּבֹודֶךָ
9 Take not away my soul, O God, with the wicked: nor my life with bloody men:	9 אַל־תֶּאֱסֹף עִם־חַטָּאִים נַפְשִׁי וְעִם־אַנְשֵׁי דָמִים חַיָּי
10 In whose hands are iniquities: their right hand is filled with gifts.	10 אֲשֶׁר־בִּידֵיהֶם זִמָּה וִימִינָם מָלְאָה שֹּׁחַד
11 But as for me, I have walked in my innocence: redeem me, and have mercy on me.	11 וַאֲנִי בְּתֻמִּי אֵלֵךְ פְּדֵנִי וְחָנֵּנִי
12 My foot hath stood in the direct way: in the churches I will bless thee, O Lord.	12 רַגְלִי עָמְדָה בְמִישֹׁור בְּמַקְהֵלִים אֲבָרֵךְ יְהוָה
	13 יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ בְּעָלוּנוּ אֲדֹנִים זוּלָתֶךָ לְבַד־בְּךָ נַזְכִּיר שְׁמֶךָ
	14 מֵתִים בַּל־יִחְיוּ רְפָאִים בַּל־יָקֻמוּ לָכֵן פָּקַדְתָּ וַתַּשְׁמִידֵם וַתְּאַבֵּד כָּל־זֵכֶר לָמֹו
	15 יָסַפְתָּ לַגֹּוי יְהוָה יָסַפְתָּ לַגֹּוי נִכְבָּדְתָּ רִחַקְתָּ כָּל־קַצְוֵי־אָרֶץ
	16 יְהוָה בַּצַּר פְּקָדוּךָ צָקוּן לַחַשׁ מוּסָרְךָ לָמֹו
	17 כְּמֹו הָרָה תַּקְרִיב לָלֶדֶת תָּחִיל תִּזְעַק בַּחֲבָלֶיהָ כֵּן הָיִינוּ מִפָּנֶיךָ יְהוָה
	18 הָרִינוּ חַלְנוּ כְּמֹו יָלַדְנוּ רוּחַ יְשׁוּעֹת בַּל־נַעֲשֶׂה אֶרֶץ וּבַל־יִפְּלוּ יֹשְׁבֵי תֵבֵל
	19 יִחְיוּ מֵתֶיךָ נְבֵלָתִי יְקוּמוּן הָקִיצוּ וְרַנְּנוּ שֹׁכְנֵי עָפָר כִּי טַל אֹורֹת טַלֶּךָ וָאָרֶץ רְפָאִים תַּפִּיל׃ ס
	20 לֵךְ עַמִּי בֹּא בַחֲדָרֶיךָ וּסְגֹר [דְּלָתֶיךָ כ] (דְּלָתְךָ ק) בַּעֲדֶךָ חֲבִי כִמְעַט־רֶגַע עַד־ [יַעֲבֹור כ] (יַעֲבָר־זָעַם׃ ק)
	21 כִּי־הִנֵּה יְהוָה יֹצֵא מִמְּקֹומֹו לִפְקֹד עֲוֹן יֹשֵׁב־הָאָרֶץ עָלָיו וְגִלְּתָה הָאָרֶץ אֶת־דָּמֶיהָ וְלֹא־תְכַסֶּה עֹוד עַל־הֲרוּגֶיהָ׃ ס
