Psalms 128

1 Unless the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it. Unless the Lord keep the city, he watcheth in vain that keepeth it.	1 Ωιδη των Αναβαθμων.>> Μακαριος πας ο φοβουμενος τον Κυριον, ο περιπατων εν ταις οδοις αυτου.
2 It is vain for you to rise before light, rise ye after you have sitten, you that eat the bread of sorrow. When he shall give sleep to his beloved,	2 Διοτι θελεις τρωγει απο του κοπου των χειρων σου? μακαριος θελεις εισθαι, και ευτυχια εις σε.
3 behold the inheritance of the Lord are children: the reward, the fruit of the womb.	3 Η γυνη σου θελει εισθαι ως αμπελος ευκαρπος εις τα πλαγια της οικιας σου? οι υιοι σου ως νεοφυτα ελαιων κυκλω της τραπεζης σου.
4 As arrows in the hand of the mighty, so the children of them that have been shaken.	4 Ιδου, ουτω θελει ευλογηθη ο ανθρωπος ο φοβουμενος τον Κυριον.
5 Blessed is the man that hath filled the desire with them; he shall not be confounded when he shall speak to his enemies in the gate.	5 Ο Κυριος θελει σε ευλογησει εκ της Σιων, και θελεις ιδει το καλον της Ιερουσαλημ πασας τας ημερας της ζωης σου?
	6 και θελεις ιδει υιους των υιων σου? ειρηνη επι τον Ισραηλ.
