DOUAI-RHEIMS	JERUSALEM
1 Praise the Lord, ye children: praise ye the name of the Lord.	1 Alleluia! Louez, serviteurs de Yahvé, louez le nom de Yahvé!
2 Blessed be the name of the Lord, from henceforth now and for ever.	2 Béni soit le nom de Yahvé, dès maintenant et à jamais!
3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same, the name of the Lord is worthy of praise.	3 Du lever du soleil à son coucher, loué soit le nom de Yahvé!
4 The Lord is high above all nations; and his glory above the heavens.	4 Plus haut que tous les peuples, Yahvé! plus haut que tous les cieux, sa gloire!
5 Who is as the Lord our God, who dwelleth on high:	5 Qui est comme Yahvé notre Dieu, lui qui s'élève pour siéger
6 and looketh down on the low things in heaven and in earth?	6 et s'abaisse pour voir cieux et terre?
7 Raising up the needy from the earth, and lifting up the poor out of the dunghill::	7 De la poussière il relève le faible, du fumier il retire le pauvre,
8 That he may place him with princes, with the princes of his people.	8 pour l'asseoir au rang des princes, au rang des princes de son peuple.
9 Who maketh a barren woman to dwell in a house, the joyful mother of children.	9 Il assied la stérile en sa maison, mère en ses fils heureuse.
