1 Now these were the divisions of the sons of Aaron: The sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abiu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.	1 Anche i figli di Aronne avevano le loro classi. Figli di Aronne furono Nadab, Abiu, Eleàzaro e Itamar.
2 But Nadab and Abiu died before their father, and had no children: so Eleazar, and Ithamar did the office of the priesthood.	2 Nabad e Abiu morirono prima del loro padre senza lasciare figli, perciò il sacerdozio fu esercitato da Eleàzaro e Itamar.
3 And David distributed them, that is, Sadoc of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their courses and ministry.	3 Davide, insieme a Zadòk dei figli di Eleàzaro e ad Achimèlech dei figli di Itamar, li divise in classi secondo il loro servizio.
4 And there were found many more of the sons of Eleazar among the principal men, than of the sons of Ithamar. And he divided them so, that there were of the sons of Eleazar, sixteen chief men by their families: and of the sons of Ithamar eight by their families and houses.	4 Poiché risultò che i figli di Eleàzaro avevano una somma di uomini maggiore che non i figli di Itamar, vennero suddivisi così: sedici capi di casati per i figli di Eleàzaro, otto capi di casati per i figli di Itamar.
5 And he divided both the families one with the other by lot: for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, both of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.	5 Questi come quelli vennero suddivisi a sorte, perché sia tra i figli di Eleàzaro che tra quelli di Itamar c'erano dei capi del santuario e dei capi di Dio.
6 And Semeias the son of Nathanael the scribe a Levite, wrote them down before the king and the princes, and Sadoc the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the princes also of the priestly and Levitical families: one house, which was over the rest, of Eleazar: and another house, which had the rest under it, of Ithamar.	6 Lo scriba Semaia, figlio di Netaneèl, levita, li iscrisse alla presenza del re, dei capi, del sacerdote Zadòk, di Achimèlech, figlio di Ebiatàr, dei capi dei casati sacerdotali e levitici; si sorteggiavano due casati per Eleàzaro e uno per Itamar.
7 Now the first lot came forth to Joiarib, the second to Jedei,	7 La prima sorte toccò a Ioarib, la seconda a Iedia,
8 The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,	8 la terza a Carim, la quarta a Seorim,
9 The fifth to Melchia, the sixth to Maiman,	9 la quinta a Malchia, la sesta a Miamin,
10 The seventh to Accos, the eighth to Abia,	10 la settima ad Akkoz, l'ottava ad Abia,
11 The ninth to Jesua, the tenth to Sechenia,	11 la nona a Giosuè, la decima a Secania,
12 The eleventh to Eliasib, the twelfth to Jacim,	12 l'undecima a Eliasib, la dodicesima a Iakim,
13 The thirteenth to Hoppha, the fourteenth to Isbaab,	13 la tredicesima a Cuppa, la quattordicesima a Is-Baal,
14 The fifteenth to Belga, the sixteenth to Emmer,	14 la quindicesima a Bilga, la sedicesima a Immer,
15 The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,	15 la diciassettesima a Chezir, la diciottesima a Happizzès,
16 The nineteenth to Pheteia, the twentieth to Hezechiel,	16 la decimanona a Petachia, la ventesima a Ezechiele,
17 The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul,	17 la ventunesima a Iachin, la ventiduesima a Gamul,
18 The three and twentieth to Dalaiau, the four and twentieth to Maaziau.	18 la ventitreesima a Delaia, la ventiquattresima a Maazia.
19 These are their courses according to their ministries, to come into the house of the Lord, and according to their manner under the hand of Aaron their father: as the Lord the God of Israel had commanded.	19 Queste furono le classi per il loro servizio: entrare nel tempio del Signore secondo la regola trasmessa da Aronne, loro padre, come gli aveva ordinato il Signore, Dio d'Israele.
20 Now of the rest of the sons of Levi, there was of the sons of Amram, Subael: and of the sons of Subael, Jehedeia.	20 Quanto agli altri figli di Levi, per i figli di Amram c'era Subaèl e per i figli di Subaèl c'era Iecdia.
21 Also of the sons of Rohobia the chief Jesias.	21 Quanto a Recabia, il capo dei figli di Recabia era Issia.
22 And the son of Isaar Salemoth, and the son of Salemoth Jahath:	22 Per gli Iseariti, Selomot; per i figli di Selomot, Iacat.
23 And his son Jeriau the first, Amarias the second, Jahaziel the third, Jecmaan the fourth.	23 Figli di Ebron: Ieria il primo, Amaria secondo, Iacaziel terzo, Iekameam quarto.
24 The son of Oziel, Micha: the son of Micha, Samir.	24 Figli di Uzziel: Mica, per i figli di Mica, Samir;
25 The brother of Micha, Jesia: and the son of Jesia, Zacharias.	25 fratello di Mica era Issia; per i figli di Issia, Zaccaria.
26 The sons of Merari: Moholi and Musi: the son of Oziau: Benno.	26 Figli di Merari: Macli e Musi; per i figli di Iaazia suo figlio.
27 The son also of Merari: Oziau, and Seam, and Zacchur, and Hebri.	27 Figli di Merari nella linea di Iaazia suo figlio: Soam, Zaccur e Ibri.
28 And the son of Moholi: Eleazar, who had no sons.	28 Per Macli: Eleazaro, che non ebbe figli.
29 And the son of Cis, Jeramael.	29 Per Kis i figli di Kis: Ieracmel.
30 The sons of Musi: Moholi, Eder, and Jerimoth. These are the sons of Levi according to the houses of their families.	30 Figli di Musi: Macli, Eder e Ierimot. Questi sono i figli dei leviti secondo i loro casati.
31 And they also cast lots over against their brethren the sons of Aaron before David the king, and Sadoc, and Ahimelech, and the princes of the priestly and Levitical families, both the elder and the younger. The lot divided all equally.	31 Anch'essi, come i loro fratelli, figli di Aronne, furono sorteggiati alla presenza del re Davide, di Sadòk, di Achimèlech, dei capi delle casate sacerdotali e levitiche; il casato del primogenito allo stesso modo di quello del fratello minore.
