1 Migliore è un boccon di pane secco, con quiete, Che una casa piena di animali ammazzati, con rissa	1 A dry morsel with gladness is better than a house full of sacrifices along with conflict.
2 Il servitore intendente signoreggerà sopra il figliuolo che reca vituperio, E spartirà l’eredità tra i fratelli	2 A wise servant shall rule over foolish sons, and he will divide the inheritance among brothers.

18 L’uomo scemo di senno tocca la mano, E fa sicurtà al suo prossimo	18 A foolish man will clap his hands, when he makes a pledge for his friend.
19 Chi ama contesa ama misfatto; Chi alza la sua porta cerca ruina	19 Whoever dwells on discord loves disputes. And whoever exalts his door seeks ruin.
20 L’uomo perverso di cuore non troverà il bene; E l’uomo stravolto nel suo parlare caderà nel male	20 Whoever is of a perverse heart shall not find good. And whoever turns his tongue shall fall into evil.
21 Chi genera un pazzo lo genera a suo cordoglio; E il padre dello stolto non si rallegrerà	21 A foolish one is born into his own disgrace. But his father will not rejoice in one who is senseless.
