1 Cantico di Maalot, di Salomone. SE il Signore non edifica la casa, In vano vi si affaticano gli edificatori; Se il Signore non guarda la città, In vano vegghiano le guardie.	1 [Song of Ascents Of Solomon] If Yahweh does not build a house in vain do its builders toil. 2 Voi che vi levate la mattina a buon’ora, e tardi vi posate, E mangiate il pane di doglie, in vano il fate; In luogo di ciò, Iddio dà il sonno a colui ch’egli ama.	2 In vain you get up earlier, and put off going to bed, sweating to make a living, since it is he whoprovides for his beloved as they sleep.
