2 O Signore, riscuoti l’anima mia dalle labbra bugiarde, E dalla lingua frodolente.	2 LORD, deliver me from lying lips, from treacherous tongues.
3 Che ti darà, e che ti aggiungerà La lingua frodolente?	3 What will the Lord inflict on you, O treacherous tongue, and what more besides?
4 Ella è simile a saette acute, tratte da un uomo prode; Ovvero anche a brace di ginepro	4 A warrior's sharpened arrows and fiery coals of brush wood!
5 Ahimè! che soggiorno in Mesec, E dimoro presso alle tende di Chedar!	5 Alas, I was an alien in Meshech, I lived near the tents of Kedar!
