DIODATI	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Salmo di Davide. IL Signore ha detto al mio Signore; Siedi alla mia destra, Infino a tanto che io abbia posti i tuoi nemici per iscannello de’ tuoi piedi.	1 [Of David Psalm] Yahweh declared to my Lord, 'Take your seat at my right hand, til I have madeyour enemies your footstool.'
2 Il Signore manderà fuor di Sion lo scettro della tua potenza, Dicendo: Signoreggia in mezzo de’ tuoi nemici.	2 Yahweh will stretch out the sceptre of your power; from Zion you wil rule your foes al around you.
3 Il tuo popolo sarà tutto volenteroso, Nel giorno che tu rassegnerai il tuo esercito, nel magnifico santuario; La rugiada della tua gioventù ti sarà prodotta dalla matrice dell’alba.	3 Royal dignity has been yours from the day of your birth, sacred honour from the womb, from thedawn of your youth.
4 Il Signore ha giurato, e non si pentirà: Tu sei sacerdote in eterno, Secondo l’ordine di Melchisedec	4 Yahweh has sworn an oath he wil never retract, you are a priest for ever of the order of Melchizedek.
5 Il Signore sarà alla tua destra. Questo mio Signore trafiggerà i re nel giorno della sua ira.	5 At your right hand, Lord, he shatters kings when his anger breaks out.
6 Egli farà giudicio fra le genti, egli empierà ogni cosa di corpi morti; Egli trafiggerà il capo che regna sopra molti paesi.	6 He judges nations, heaping up corpses, he breaks heads over the whole wide world.
7 Egli berrà del torrente tra via; E perciò alzerà il capo	7 He drinks from a stream as he goes, and therefore he holds his head high.
