1 Al octavo día, Moisés llamó a Aarón y a sus hijos, y a los ancianos de Israel,	1 On the eighth day Moses summoned Aaron and his sons, together with the elders of Israel,
2 y dijo a Aarón: «Toma un ternero para un sacrificio por el pecado, y un carnero para un holocausto, ambos sin ningún defecto, y preséntalos delante del Señor.	2 and said to Aaron, "Take a calf for a sin offering and a ram for a holocaust, both without blemish, and offer them before the LORD.
3 Después di a los israelitas: «Tomen un chivo para ofrecerlo como sacrificio por el pecado; un ternero y un cordero, de un año y sin defecto, para un holocausto;	3 Tell the elders of Israel, too: Take a he-goat for a sin offering, a calf and a lamb, both unblemished yearlings, for a holocaust,
4 y traigan también un toro y un carnero para inmolarlos delante del Señor, en sacrificio de comunión. Además de esto, preparen una oblación amasada con aceite. Porque hoy el Señor se manifestará a ustedes».	4 and an ox and a ram for a peace offering, to sacrifice them before the LORD, along with a cereal offering mixed with oil; for today the LORD will reveal himself to you."
5 Ellos pusieron frente a la Carpa del Encuentro todo lo que Moisés les había ordenado, y la comunidad en pleno se acercó y permaneció de pie delante del Señor.	5 So they brought what Moses had ordered. When the whole community had come forward and stood before the LORD,
6 Entonces Moisés dijo: «El Señor les ordena hacer estas cosas, para que su gloria se manifieste a ustedes».	6 Moses said, "This is what the LORD orders you to do, that the glory of the LORD may be revealed to you.
7 Después dijo a Aarón: «Acércate al altar, ofrece tu sacrificio por el pecado y tu holocausto, y realiza así el rito de expiación por ti y por tu familia; presenta también la ofrenda del pueblo, y practica el rito de expiación en favor de ellos, como el Señor lo ha ordenado».	7 Come up to the altar," Moses then told Aaron, "and offer your sin offering and your holocaust in atonement for yourself and for your family; then present the offering of the people in atonement for them, as the LORD has commanded."
8 Aarón se acercó al altar e inmoló el ternero del sacrificio por su propio pecado.	8 Going up to the altar, Aaron first slaughtered the calf that was his own sin offering.
9 Sus hijos le presentaron la sangre la víctima, y él, mojando su dedo, puso un poco de sangre sobre los cuernos del altar y derramó el resto sobre la base del mismo.	9 When his sons presented the blood to him, he dipped his finger in the blood and put it on the horns of the altar. The rest of the blood he poured out at the base of the altar.
10 Luego hizo arder sobre el altar la grasa, los riñones y la protuberancia del hígado, extraídos de la víctima del sacrificio por el pecado, como el Señor lo había ordenado a Moisés.	10 He then burned on the altar the fat, the kidneys and the lobe of the liver that were taken from the sin offering, as the LORD had commanded Moses;
11 La carne y el cuero, en cambio, los quemó fuera del campamento.	11 but the flesh and the hide he burned up in the fire outside the camp.
12 En seguida inmoló la víctima del holocausto, y sus hijos le presentaron la sangre, con la que él roció todos los costados del altar.	12 Then Aaron slaughtered his holocaust. When his sons brought him the blood, he splashed it on all sides of the altar.
13 Luego le trajeron la víctima cortada en pedazos, juntamente con la cabeza, y él los hizo arder sobre el altar.	13 They then brought him the pieces and the head of the holocaust, and he burned them on the altar.
14 Después de lavar las entrañas y las patas, también las hizo arder sobre el altar junto con el holocausto.	14 Having washed the inner organs and the shanks, he burned these also with the holocaust on the altar.
15 Luego presentó la ofrenda del pueblo: tomó el chivo del sacrificio por el pecado del pueblo. lo inmoló y lo ofreció como había hecho con el anterior.	15 Thereupon he had the people's offering brought up. Taking the goat that was for the people's sin offering, he slaughtered it and offered it up for sin as before.
16 Ofreció el holocausto conforme el ritual,	16 Then he brought forward the holocaust, other than the morning holocaust, and offered it in the usual manner.
17 y presentó la oblación, de la cual extrajo un puñado, que hizo arder sobre el altar, junto con el holocausto de la mañana.	17 He then presented the cereal offering; taking a handful of it, he burned it on the altar.
18 También inmoló el toro y el carnero del sacrifico de comunión ofrecido por el pueblo. Sus hijos le trajeron la sangre, y con ella roció todos los costados del altar.	18 Finally he slaughtered the ox and the ram, the peace offering of the people. When his sons brought him the blood, Aaron splashed it on all sides of the altar.
19 Todas las partes grasosas del toro y del carnero –la cola, la grasa que recubre las entrañas, los riñones y la protuberancia del hígado–	19 The portions of fat from the ox and from the ram, the fatty tail, the fatty membrane over the inner organs, the two kidneys, with the fat that is on them, and the lobe of the liver,
20 fueron depositadas sobre los pechos de las víctimas. Aarón hizo arder las partes grasosas sobre el altar,	20 he placed on top of the breasts and burned them on the altar,
21 mientras que con el pecho y la pata derecha de los animales, hizo el gesto de presentación delante del Señor, como Moisés lo había ordenado.	21 having first waved the breasts and the right legs as a wave offering before the LORD, in keeping with the LORD'S command to Moses.
22 Finalmente, Aarón extendió sus manos hacia el pueblo y lo bendijo.	22 Aaron then raised his hands over the people and blessed them. When he came down from offering the sin offering and holocaust and peace offering,
23 y Moisés entró junto con él en la Carpa del Encuentro. Al salir bendijeron al pueblo, y la gloria del Señor se manifestó a todo el pueblo:	23 Moses and Aaron went into the meeting tent. On coming out they again blessed the people. Then the glory of the LORD was revealed to all the people.
24 un fuego salió de la presencia del Señor, y consumió el holocausto y las partes grasosas puestas sobre el altar. Al ver esto, todo el pueblo prorrumpió en gritos de júbilo y se postró con el rostro en tierra.	24 Fire came forth from the LORD'S presence and consumed the holocaust and the remnants of the fat on the altar. Seeing this, all the people cried out and fell prostrate.
