EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Del maestro de coro. Para oboes y arpa. Salmo de David. Acción de gracias por la justicia de Dios	1 [For the choirmaster On oboe and harp Psalm Of David] I thank you, Yahweh, with my whole heart, Irecount al your wonders,
2 [Alef] Te doy gracias, Señor, de todo corazón y proclamaré todas tus maravillas	2 I rejoice and delight in you, I sing to your name, Most High.
3 Quiero alegrarme y regocijarme en ti, y cantar himnos a tu Nombre, Altísimo.	3 My enemies are in retreat, they stumble and perish at your presence,
4 [Bet] Cuando retrocedían mis enemigos, tropezaron y perecieron delante de ti,	4 for you have given fair judgement in my favour, seated on your throne as upright judge.
5 porque tú defendiste mi derecho y mi causa, sentándote en el trono como justo Juez.	5 You have rebuked the nations, destroyed the wicked, blotted out their name for ever and ever;
6 [Guímel] Escarmentaste a las naciones, destruiste a los impíos y borraste sus nombres para siempre;	6 the enemy is wiped out -- mere ruins for ever -- you have annihilated their cities, their memory hasperished. See,
7 desapareció el enemigo: es una ruina irreparable; arrasaste las ciudades, y se perdió hasta su recuerdo	7 Yahweh is enthroned for ever, keeping his throne firm for judgement;
8 [He] Pero el Señor reina eternamente y establece su trono para el juicio:	8 he wil himself judge the world in uprightness, wil give a true verdict on the nations.
9 él gobierna al mundo con justicia y juzga con rectitud a las naciones.	9 May Yahweh be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble!
10 [Vau] El Señor es un baluarte para el oprimido, un baluarte en los momentos de peligro.	10 Those who revere your name can rely on you, you never desert those who seek you, Yahweh.
11 ¡Confíen en ti los que veneran tu Nombre, porque tú no abandonas a los que te buscan!	11 Sing to Yahweh who dwel s in Zion, tel the nations his mighty deeds,
12 [Zain] Canten al Señor, que reina en Sión, proclamen entre los pueblos sus proezas.	12 for the avenger of blood does not forget them, he does not ignore the cry of the afflicted.
13 Porque él pide cuenta de la sangre, se acuerda de los pobres y no olvida su clamor.	13 Have pity on me, Yahweh, see my affliction, pull me back from the gates of death,
14 [Jet] El Señor se apiadó de mí, contempló mi aflicción; me tomó y me alzó de las puertas de la Muerte,	14 that I may recount al your praises at the gates of the daughter of Zion and rejoice in your salvation.
15 para que pudiera proclamar sus alabanzas y alegrarme por su victoria en las puertas de Sión.	15 The nations have fal en into the trap they made, their feet caught in the snare they laid.
16 [Tet] Los pueblos se han hundido en la fosa que abrieron, su pie quedó atrapado en la red que ocultaron.	16 Yahweh has made himself known, given judgement, he has ensnared the wicked in the work of theirown hands.Muted music Pause
17 El Señor se dio a conocer, hizo justicia, y el impío se enredó en sus propias obras.	17 May the wicked turn away to Sheol, al the nations forgetful of God.
18 [Iod] Vuelvan al Abismo los malvados, todos los pueblos que se olvidan de Dios.	18 For the needy is not forgotten for ever, not for ever does the hope of the poor come to nothing.
19 [Caf] Porque el pobre no será olvidado para siempre ni se malogra eternamente la esperanza del humilde.	19 Arise, Yahweh; human strength shal not prevail. The nations shal stand trial before you.
20 ¡Levántate, Señor! que los hombres no se envanezcan, y las naciones sean juzgadas en tu presencia.	20 Strike them with terror, Yahweh; the nations shall know that they are no more than human!Pause
21 Infúndeles pánico, Señor, para que aprendan que no son más que hombres.
