BIBBIA VOLGARE	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 E vidi uno altro segno in cielo, grande e mirabile; angeli sette, che avevano sette piaghe ultime; per che in quelle è compita la ira di Dio.	1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and wonderful: seven angels having the seven last plagues. For in them is filled up the wrath of God.
2 E vidi il mare come vitreo, messedato con il fuoco; e quelli che vincerono la bestia, e la sua imagine, e il numero del suo nome, stavano sopra il mare vitreo, e avevano citare di Dio.	2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire, and them that had overcome the beast, and his image, and the number of his name, standing on the sea of glass, having the harps of God:
3 E cantavano il canto di Moisè, servo di Dio, e il canto dell' Agnello, dicenti: grandi e mirabili sono l'operazioni tue, Signore Dio onnipotente; giuste e vere sono le opere tue, re de' secoli.	3 And singing the canticle of Moses, the servant of God, and the canticle of the Lamb, saying: Great and wonderful are thy works, O Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, O King of ages.
4 Chi non ti temerà, Signore, e magnificherà il tuo nome? Per che tu solo se' pio; conciosia che tutte le genti vegneranno, e adoreranno nel conspetto tuo, conciosia che li tuoi giudicii sono manifestati.	4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and magnify thy name? For thou only art holy: for all nations shall come, and shall adore in thy sight, because thy judgments are manifest.
5 E dopo questo vidi; ed ecco ch' è aperto il tempio del tabernacolo del testimonio in cielo.	5 And after these things I looked; and behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened:
6 E uscirono fuori del tempio sette angeli, che avevano sette piaghe, vestiti di tela monda e bianca, e cinti circa li petti con cinture d' oro.	6 And the seven angels came out of the temple, having the seven plagues, clothed with clean and white linen, and girt about the breasts with golden girdles.
7 E uno de' quattro animali dètte alli sette angeli sette angristare d' oro, piene d'iracondia di Dio vivente in secula seculorum.	7 And one of the four living creatures gave to the seven angels seven golden vials, full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.
8 Ed empiuto è il tempio (di Dio) di fumo della maestà di Dio e della virtù sua; e niuno poteva entrare nel tempio (di Dio), insino tanto che siano consumate le sette piaghe de' sette angeli.	8 And the temple was filled with smoke from the majesty of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled.
