1 Per molte guise e per molti modi in qua dietro Dio parlò alli nostri padri per li profeti.	1 God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
2 Ma ora in questi dì ha parlato a noi per lo Figliuolo, il quale ha posto e ordinato che sia erede di tutte le cose, e per il quale fece li secoli.	2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
3 Il quale, conciosia ch' egli sia splendore di gloria, e figura della sua sostanza, egli porta colla parola della virtù sua tutte le cose; facendo purgazione de' peccati, si siede alla dritta parte della (sua) maestà in cielo.	3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
4 E tanto è fatto migliore delli angeli, quanto maggiormente ereditò sopra loro.	4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5 A qual delli angeli disse ancora Dio: tu sei mio figliuolo, e te generai oggi? E ancora (dice così lo padre per la scrittura): io sarò a lui per padre, ed egli sarà a me per figliuolo?	5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
6 E quando egli introduce lo primogenito nel giro della terra, sì dice ancora: adorinlo tutti li angeli.	6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
7 E alli angeli veramente dice egli, che fa dei suoi spiriti angeli, e suoi servi fa fiamma di fuoco.	7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
8 E al Figliuolo dice: o Dio, la tua sedia è sempiternale, e la verga del tuo regno è verga di dirittura (e d'eguaglianza).	8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
9 Tu hai amato la giustizia, e avesti in odio la niquità; per la qual cosa Dio, il tuo Dio, sì t' ha unto con olio di letizia più inanzi che li tuoi consorti.	9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
10 E: tu, Signore, nel principio fondasti la terra; e l'opera delle tue mani son li cieli.	10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
11 Elli periranno, e tu permarrai; e tutti, si come vestimento, invecchiaranno.	11 They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
12 E come copertorio li mutarai, e saranno mutati; ma tu starai come tu se', e gli anni tuoi non verranno meno.	12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
13 A quali degli angioli disse ancora (Dio): siedi dal lato ritto mio, insino a tanto che io ponga li tuoi nemici scabello sotto li tuoi piedi?	13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?
14 Or non son tutti li spiriti ammaestratori e servitori, mandati nel servizio di coloro li quali riceveranno la eredità della salute?	14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
