Epistola di Santo Paulo alli Colossensi 4

1 Voi, signori, ciò ch' è giusto e diritto date alli vostri servi, sapiendo che [anche] voi avete il vostro Signore in cielo.	1 You masters, supply your servants with what is just and equitable, knowing that you, too, have a Master in heaven.
2 A pregare Dio vi sforzate, vegliando in orazione e con referimento di grazie a Dio.	2 Pursue prayer. Be watchful in prayer with acts of thanksgiving.
3 E pregate Dio per noi, ch' egli apra la porta della parola (sua) in noi a parlare il servizio di Cristo; per la qual cosa io ne son (preso e) legato,	3 Pray together, for us also, so that God may open a door of speech to us, so as to speak the mystery of Christ, (because of which, even now, I am in chains)
4 (sì che io non posso predicare l'evangelio di Cristo; onde pregate per me) acciò ch' io possa manifestare quello evangelio, sì come conviene a me di parlare.	4 so that I may manifest it in the manner that I ought to speak.
5 Andate con saviezza verso di coloro che son fuori (della fede), e riconquistate il tempo.	5 Walk in wisdom toward those who are outside, redeeming this age.
6 La vostra parola sempre sia condita in grazia con sale, acciò sappiate in che guisa vi convenga rispondere a ciascuno.	6 Let your speech be ever graceful, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you ought to respond to each person.
7 Quelle cose che son a presso di me e li fatti tutti vi farà manifesti Tichico, carissimo nostro fratello, e fedele ministro e insieme servo nel Signore.	7 As for the things that concern me, Tychicus, a most beloved brother and faithful minister and fellow servant in the Lord, will make everything known to you.
8 Il quale mando a voi solamente per questo, perchè a voi dica il nostro fatto, e perchè vi consoli li vostri cuori,	8 I have sent him to you for this very purpose, so that he may know the things that concern you, and may console your hearts,
9 e (mandovi) con lui il carissimo e fedele nostro fratello Onesimo, il quale è di voi; e quelli ancora vi faran manifeste quelle cose che si fanno qui.	9 with Onesimus, a most beloved and faithful brother, who is from among you. They shall make known to you everything that is happening here.
10 Salutavi Aristarco, il quale è mio compagno in prigione; e salutavi ancora Marco, con sobrino di Barnaba, del qual riceveste li comandamenti; s' egli viene a voi, ricevetelo.	10 Aristarchus, my fellow prisoner, greets you, as does Mark, the near cousin of Barnabas, about whom you have received instructions, (if he comes to you, receive him)
11 E salutavi Iesù, il quale è chiamato Giusto; li quali son della circoncisione; e questi son soli miei aiutatori nel regno di Dio, e miei consolatori.	11 and Jesus, who is called Justus, and those who are of the circumcision. These alone are my assistants, unto the kingdom of God; they have been a consolation to me.
12 Salutavi Epafra, il quale è di voi, servo di Iesù Cristo; e che siate perfetti e pieni in ogni volontà di Dio, sempre è sollecito per voi nell' orazione.	12 Epaphras greets you, who is from among you, a servant of Christ Jesus, ever solicitous for you in prayer, so that you may stand, perfect and complete, in the entire will of God.
13 Al quale io rendo testimonianza, ch' egli avea per voi, e per coloro di Laodocea, e per quelli che son in Ierapoli, molta fatica.	13 For I offer testimony to him, that he has labored greatly for you, and for those who are at Laodicea, and for those at Hierapolis.
14 Salutavi Luca, medico (fratello) carissimo, e Dema.	14 Luke, a most beloved physician, greets you, as does Demas.
15 Salutate li fratelli, li quali son in Laodocea, e Nimfa con tutta sua famiglia.	15 Greet the brothers who are at Laodicea, and Nymphas, and those who are at his house, a church.
16 E quando questa epistola sarà intra voi letta, fate che questa medesima sia letta anche nella Chiesa di Laodocea, intra voi.	16 And when this epistle has been read among you, cause it to be read also in the church of the Laodiceans, and you should read that which is from the Laodiceans.
17 E dite ad Archippo, che ponga mente al ministerio che gli è dato nel Signore, e ch' egli il compia.	17 And tell Archippus: “See to the ministry that you have received in the Lord, in order to fulfill it.”
18 La mia salutazione, fatta per mano di Paulo. Ricordatevi de' miei legami. La grazia (del nostro Signore Iesù Cristo) sia con voi. Amen.	18 The greeting of Paul by my own hand. Remember my chains. May grace be with you. Amen.
