1 Nel dì, il quale creoe Iddio l'uomo, ad ima gine di Dio fece lui.	1 This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;
2 Maschio e femina creoe; e loro benedisse, e chiamò loro Adam; e dal dì che furono creati,	2 Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3 vivendo poi anni Cxxx, generoe a similitudine sua e ad imagine uno figliuolo, chiamando il nome suo Set.	3 And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, after his image; and called his name Seth:
4 E poi che l'ebbe generato, vivette Adam, e fatti sono i suoi dì ottocento anni; e poi ancora generoe figliuoli e figliuole.	4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters:
5 E fatto è ogni tempo di Adam, che vivette anni novecento trenta; e moritte Adam.	5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.
6 In verità vivette Set (suo figliuolo) anni CV; e generoe Enos.	6 And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and begat Enos:
7 E vivette Set, poichè generoe Enos, ottocento sette anni; e generoe figliuoli e figliuole.	7 And Seth lived after he begat Enos eight hundred and seven years, and begat sons and daughters:
8 E compiti sono tutti i dì di Set, novecento XII anni, e mori.	8 And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.
9 Ma Enos vivette nonant' anni, e generoe Cainan.	9 And Enos lived ninety years, and begat Cainan:
10 Dopo il quale nascimento visse Dcccxv anni; ed in questo tempo generoe figliuoli e figliuole.	10 And Enos lived after he begat Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and begat sons and daughters:
11 E fatti e compiuti sono tutti i dì di Enos Iccccv anni, e morio.	11 And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.
12 Ma Cainan in verità visse Lxx anni, e generoe Malaleel.	12 And Cainan lived seventy years, and begat Mahalaleel:
13 E poi vivette Cainan, dapoi che generoe Malaleel, DcccxL anni; ed in questo tempo generoe figliuoli e figliuole.	13 And Cainan lived after he begat Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and begat sons and daughters:
14 E fatti sono tutti i dì di Cainan Dccccx anni, e morto è.	14 And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.
15 Ma vivette ancora Malaleel Lxv anni, il quale generoe laret.	15 And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and begat Jared:
16 E poi vivette Malaleel, poi che generoe Iaret, Dcccxxx anni; e generoe figliuoli e figliuole.	16 And Mahalaleel lived after he begat Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and begat sons and daughters:
17 E fatti sono tutti i dì della sua vita, cioè di Malaleel, DCCCLxxxxv anni, e morto è.	17 And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.
18 E dopo costui vivette laret CLXII anni, e generoe Enoc.	18 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch:
19 E vivette Laret, poi che generoe Enoc, Dccc anni; e generoe figliuoli e figliuole.	19 And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
20 E fatti sono e compiuti tutti i dì della vita di Iaret DccccLxii anni, e morto è.	20 And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.
21 E dopo costui il suo figliuolo Enoc vivette sessanta e V anni, e generoe Matusalem.	21 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah:
22 E seguitò Enoc la via di Dio; e vivette Enoc, dopo ch' egli generoe Matusalem, CCC anni; e generoe figliuoli e figliuole.	22 And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
23 E fatti sono tutti i dì di Enoc CCCLxv anni.	23 And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
24 Ed andossene con Dio, e non appario poi più; imperciò che ne'l portoe il Signore vivo.	24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
25 E vivette Matusalem poi CLXXXVII anni, e generoe Lamec.	25 And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and begat Lamech:
26 E vivette Matusalem, poi che generoe Lamec, DccLxxxii anni, e generoe figliuoli e figliuole.	26 And Methuselah lived after he begat Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and begat sons and daughters:
27 E fatti sono i di tutti di Matusalem DCCCCLXVIIII anni, e morto è.	27 And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.
28 E vivette ancora Lamec CLxxxii anni; e generoe uno figliuolo.	28 And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and begat a son:
29 E chiamò lo suo nome Noè, dicendo: costui consolerà noi dall'opre e dalle fatiche delle mani nostre, nella terra che maledisse il Signore.	29 And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD hath cursed.
30 E poi che Lamec generoe Noè, vivette egli DLXXxxv anni; e generoe figliuoli e figliuole.	30 And Lamech lived after he begat Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and begat sons and daughters:
31 E fatti sono tutti i dì di Lamec DccLXXVII anni, e morto è. Ma Noè, essendo già di cinquecento anni, generoe Sem, Cam e Iafet.	31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
	32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
