Seconda lettera ai Tessalonicesi (2 تسالونيكي) 3

SMITH VAN DYKE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 اخيرا ايها الاخوة صّلوا لاجلنا لكي تجري كلمة الرب وتتمجد كما عندكم ايضا.	1 Final y, brothers, pray for us that the Lord's message may spread quickly, and be received with honouras it was among you;
2 ولكي ننقذ من الناس الاردياء الاشرار. لان الايمان ليس للجميع.	2 and pray that we may be preserved from bigoted and evil people, for not everyone has faith.
3 امين هو الرب الذي سيثبتكم ويحفظكم من الشرير.	3 You can rely on the Lord, who wil give you strength and guard you from the evil One,
4 ونثق بالرب من جهتكم انكم تفعلون ما نوصيكم به وستفعلون ايضا.	4 and we, in the Lord, have every confidence in you, that you are doing and wil go on doing al that wetel you.
5 والرب يهدي قلوبكم الى محبة الله والى صبر المسيح	5 May the Lord turn your hearts towards the love of God and the perseverance of Christ.
6 ثم نوصيكم ايها الاخوة باسم ربنا يسوع المسيح ان تتجنبوا كل اخ يسلك بلا ترتيب وليس حسب التعليم الذي اخذه منا.	6 In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we urge you, brothers, to keep away from any of the brothers wholives an undisciplined life, not in accordance with the tradition you received from us.
7 اذ انتم تعرفون كيف يجب ان يتمثل بنا لاننا لم نسلك بلا ترتيب بينكم	7 You know how you should take us as your model: we were not undisciplined when we were with you,
8 ولا اكلنا خبزا مجانا من احد بل كنا نشتغل بتعب وكد ليلا ونهارا لكي لا نثقل على احد منكم.	8 nor did we ever accept food from anyone without paying for it; no, we worked with unsparing energy,night and day, so as not to be a burden on any of you.
9 ليس ان لا سلطان لنا بل لكي نعطيكم انفسنا قدوة حتى تتمثلوا بنا.	9 This was not because we had no right to be, but in order to make ourselves a model for you to imitate.
10 فاننا ايضا حين كنا عندكم اوصيناكم بهذا انه ان كان احد لا يريد ان يشتغل فلا ياكل ايضا.	10 We urged you when we were with you not to let anyone eat who refused to work.
11 لاننا نسمع ان قوما يسلكون بينكم بلا ترتيب لا يشتغلون شيئا بل هم فضوليون.	11 Now we hear that there are some of you who are living lives without any discipline, doing no workthemselves but interfering with other people's.
12 فمثل هؤلاء نوصيهم ونعظهم بربنا يسوع المسيح ان يشتغلوا بهدوء ويأكلوا خبز انفسهم.	12 In the Lord Jesus Christ, we urge and cal on people of this kind to go on quietly working and earningthe food that they eat.
13 اما انتم ايها الاخوة فلا تفشلوا في عمل الخير.	13 My brothers, never slacken in doing what is right.
14 وان كان احد لا يطيع كلامنا بالرسالة فسموا هذا ولا تخالطوه لكي يخجل.	14 If anyone refuses to obey what I have written in this letter, take note of him and have nothing to dowith him, so that he wil be ashamed of himself,
15 ولكن لا تحسبوه كعدو بل انذروه كأخ.	15 though you are not to treat him as an enemy, but to correct him as a brother.
16 ورب السلام نفسه يعطيكم السلام دائما من كل وجه. الرب مع جميعكم	16 May the Lord of peace himself give you peace at al times and in every way. The Lord be with you all.
17 السلام بيدي انا بولس الذي هو علامة في كل رسالة. هكذا انا اكتب.	17 This greeting is in my own hand-PAUL. It is the mark of genuineness in every letter; this is my own writing.
18 نعمة ربنا يسوع المسيح مع جميعكم. آمين	18 May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
