Isaia 9

LA SACRA BIBBIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Il popolo che camminava nelle tenebre vide una grande luce; sugli abitanti in paese tenebroso risplendette una luce.	1 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light; on the inhabitants of a country in shadowdark as death light has blazed forth.
2 Hai moltiplicato la gioia, hai causato grande letizia. Gioiscono al tuo cospetto, come si gioisce alla mietitura, come si esulta quando si divide la preda.	2 You have enlarged the nation, you have increased its joy; they rejoice before you as people rejoice atharvest time, as they exult when they are dividing the spoils.
