LA SACRA BIBBIA	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Beato l'uomo che non camminò nel consiglio degli empi e nella via dei peccatori non si fermò e nel consesso dei beffardi non s'assise;	1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2 ma nella legge del Signore è la sua gioia e in essa medita giorno e notte.	2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3 Perciò sarà come un albero che su rivi d'acqua è piantato, che dà i suoi frutti ad ogni stagione, le cui foglie mai appassiscono: in ogni cosa che fa ha sempre successo.	3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4 Non così gli empi: essi al contrario saranno come pula che il vento sospinge.	4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5 Per questo non entreranno gli empi nel giudizio, né i peccatori nell'assemblea dei giusti,	5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 Il Signore conosce la via dei giusti. mentre la via degli empi andrà in rovina.	6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
