1 Quando divenne re, Iotam aveva venticinque anni; regnò sedici anni in Gerusalemme. 5 Fece guerra al re degli Ammoniti e lo vinse. Gli Ammoniti gli diedero in quell'anno cento talenti di argento, diecimila kor di grano e altrettanti di orzo. Questo gli fu consegnato dagli Ammoniti anche il secondo e il terzo anno.	5 He fought against the king of the sons of Ammon, and he defeated them.
