Lettera ai Colossesi 4

1 - Voi, padroni, date agli schiavi quel che è giusto ed equo, sapendo che anche voi avete un Signore nel cielo.	1 Masters, give unto your servants that which is just and equal; knowing that ye also have a Master in heaven.
2 Perseverate nella preghiera vegliando in essa con senso di gratitudine;	2 Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving;
3 pregando insieme anche per noi affinchè Iddio ci apra la porta della parola, e ci sia dato annunziare il mistero di Cristo, per il quale anche sono ora in catene;	3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:
4 affinchè io lo manifesti come conviene ch'io parli.	4 That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak.
5 Diportatevi saviamente con gli estranei, cogliendo il tempo opportuno.	5 Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.
6 E il vostro parlare sia sempre grazioso, avveduto, per sapere come abbiate a rispondere a ciascuno.	6 Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man.
7 Le cose mie ve le farà conoscere Tichico, fratello carissimo, e ministro fedele e conservo nel Signore,	7 All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord:
8 cui ho mandato a voi, giusto perchè sappiate le cose nostre e perchè conforti i vostri cuori;	8 Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts;
9 e l'ho mandato insieme col fedele e caro fratello Onesimo che è dei vostri. Tutto vi faranno essi conoscere delle cose di qui.	9 With Onesimus, a faithful and beloved brother, who is one of you. They shall make known unto you all things which are done here.
10 Vi saluta Aristarco il mio compagno di prigione e Marco il cugino di Barnaba, per il quale avete ricevuto delle raccomandazioni; se vien da voi, fategli accoglienza;	10 Aristarchus my fellowprisoner saluteth you, and Marcus, sister's son to Barnabas, (touching whom ye received commandments: if he come unto you, receive him;)
11 e Gesù soprannominato il Giusto; i quali provengono dai circoncisi; quegli soli sono miei cooperatori per il regno di Dio, e mi sono stati di conforto.	11 And Jesus, which is called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These only are my fellowworkers unto the kingdom of God, which have been a comfort unto me.
12 Vi saluta Epafra che è dei vostri, servo di Cristo Gesù, il quale si adopra sempre nelle sue orazioni a pro di voi, affinchè, perfetti, e pienamente convinti, rimaniate saldi in ogni volere di Dio.	12 Epaphras, who is one of you, a servant of Christ, saluteth you, always labouring fervently for you in prayers, that ye may stand perfect and complete in all the will of God.
13 Io sono a lui testimone che si preoccupa molto di voi, e di quei di Laodicea, e di quei di Gerapoli.	13 For I bear him record, that he hath a great zeal for you, and them that are in Laodicea, and them in Hierapolis.
14 Vi saluta Luca, l'amato medico, e Demade.	14 Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas, greet you.
15 Voi salutate i fratelli di Laodicea, e Ninfa e la chiesa di casa sua.	15 Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house.
16 E quando questa lettera sia stata letta da voialtri, fate in modo che sia letta anche nella chiesa di Laodicea, e quella che verrà da Laodicea fate in modo di leggerla anche voi.	16 And when this epistle is read among you, cause that it be read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that ye likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.
17 E dite ad Archippo: «Bada al ministero che hai ricevuto nel nome del Signore, e fa' di adempirlo!».	17 And say to Archippus, Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.
18 Il saluto è di mia mano, di me Paolo. Ricordatevi delle mie catene. La grazia sia con voi.	18 The salutation by the hand of me Paul. Remember my bonds. Grace be with you. Amen.
