Leviticus 4

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	1 Parlò Iddio a Moisè, e dissegli:
2 Say to the sons of Israel: The soul which will have sinned through ignorance, and concerning any of the commandments of the Lord that he instructed not to be done, if anything at all has been done:	2 Parla ai figliuoli d'Israel, e dì a loro, che l'anima che per ignoranza peccherà, e di tutti i comandamenti, che Iddio comandò che non si facesse, alcuno avrà disobbedito;
3 if the priest, who is anointed, will have sinned, causing the people to commit a transgression, he shall offer to the Lord for his sin an immaculate calf.	3 Se lo sacerdote, il quale è unto, avrà peccato, e per lo suo peccato peccherà lo popolo, offerrà per lo suo peccato lo vitello senza macula al Signore.
4 And he shall lead it to the door of the tabernacle of the testimony in the sight of the Lord. And he shall place his hand upon its head, and he shall immolate it to the Lord.	4 E porterallo dinanzi al tabernacolo della testimonianza in presenza di Dio; e porrà la mano sopra il capo dello vitello, e offerirallo a Dio.
5 Likewise, he shall take from the blood of the calf, carrying it into the tabernacle of the testimony,	5 E torrà del sangue del vitello, e porterallo nel tabernacolo della testimonianza.
6 and having dipped his finger into the blood, he shall sprinkle it seven times in the sight of the Lord, opposite the veil of the Sanctuary.	6 E intinto lo dito nel sangue, aspargalo lo sacerdote sette volte, in presenza di Dio, contro a lo velo del santuario.
7 And he shall place some of the same blood over the horns of the altar of most pleasing incense to the Lord, which is in the tabernacle of the testimony. Then he shall pour out the remainder of the blood at the base of the altar of holocaust at the entrance of the tabernacle.	7 E ponga del sangue sopra li corni dell' altare del timiama, che sarà accetto a Dio, il quale è nel tabernacolo della testimonianza. Tutto l'altro sangue getterà a' piedi dell' altare dello sacrificio. che sta dinanzi al tabernacolo.
8 And, on behalf of the sin, he shall take the fat of the calf, both that which covers the vital organs and all that is interior,	8 E tutto lo grasso offerralo per lo peccato, così quello che cuopre le interiora, come tutto quello che è dentro;
9 the two little kidneys, and the mesh that is on them near the sides, and the fat of the liver with the little kidneys,	9 i due renuncoli e lo grasso che li cuopre, cioè quello che ista presso alla punta della schiena, e lo grasso che è del fegato, e quello delle reni.
10 just as it is taken from the calf of the sacrifice of peace offerings. And he shall burn them upon the altar of holocaust.	10 E torrà, come si tolleva del vitello del sacrificio de' pacifici; e arderà sopra l'altare del sacrificio (per sacrificio a Dio).
11 Yet truly, the skin and all the flesh, with the head and the feet, and the intestines and the dung,	11 La pelle, e tutta la carne con lo capo e li piedi, e le interiora colle feci,
12 and the remainder of the body, he shall carry away, beyond the camp, to the clean place where the ashes are usually poured out. And he shall burn them upon a stack of wood. There, in the place where the ashes have been poured out, they will be burned.	12 e tutto il corpo, porteranno di fuori dello abitato in luogo netto, dove la cenere si suole porre; e porrannole sopra la catasta delle legne, e in questo luogo dove si getta la cenere l'arderanno.
13 But if all the crowd of Israel will have been ignorant, and through inexperience will have done what is contrary to the commandment of the Lord,	13 E se tutta la gente de' figliuoli d'Israel per ignoranza e contro il comandamento di Dio fallasse,
14 and afterwards shall understand their sin: they shall offer a calf on behalf of their sin, and they shall lead it to the door of the tabernacle.	14 e poi riconoscerà i suoi peccati, offerirà lo vitello per lo peccato; e porrallo all'uscio del tabernacolo.
15 And the elders of the people shall place their hands upon its head in the sight of the Lord. And when the calf has been immolated in the sight of the Lord,	15 E gli antichi del popolo porranno la mano sopra questo vitello nello capo in presenza di Dio. Offerto lo vitello nel cospetto di Dio,
16 the priest who is anointed shall carry some of its blood into the tabernacle of the testimony.	16 lo sacerdote, il quale è unto, introdurrà dello suo sangue nel tabernacolo della testimonianza.
17 and he shall dip his finger in it, sprinkling it seven times opposite the veil.	17 E tinto lo dito, spargerà sette volte contro al velo.
18 And he shall place some of the same blood on the horns of the altar, which is in the presence of the Lord in the tabernacle of the testimony. But the remainder of the blood he shall pour out at the base of the altar of holocaust, which is at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.	18 E porrà di quello sangue alli corni dell' altare, che è nel tabernacolo della testimonianza, nel cospetto di Dio; e tutto l'altro sangue versi a' piedi dell' altare degli olocausti, il quale è all'uscio del tabernacolo della testimonianza.
19 And he shall take all its fat and burn it upon the altar,	19 E tutta la grassa porrà sopra l'altare, e faranne sacrificio a Dio.
20 doing so with this calf in the same manner as he did before. And while the priest is praying for them, the Lord will forgive them.	20 E così faranne di questo vitello, come del primo; e pregando per loro il sacerdote, Iddio lo esaudirà.
21 But the calf itself he shall carry away, beyond the camp, and he shall also burn it, just as with the previous calf, because it is for the sin of the multitude.	21 E questo vitello porteranno di fuori dello abitato, e arderanno come lo primo ritello; perciò ch' è per lo peccato della moltitudine.
22 If a leader will have sinned, and through ignorance will have done one of the many things which the law of the Lord prohibits,	22 Se lo principe peccherà una volta o più per ignoranza contro a quello che dice la legge di Dio,
23 and afterwards he shall understand his sin: he shall offer an immaculate he-goat from among the goats, as a sacrifice to the Lord.	23 ed egli conoscerà il suo peccato, offerirà sacrificio a Dio lo becco delle capre senza macula.
24 And he shall place his hand upon its head. And when he will have immolated it, in the place where the holocaust is usually slain, in the sight of the Lord, because it is for sin,	24 E ponga la mano sua sopra lo suo capo; e quando lui lo avrà offerto in quello luogo dove suole offerire lo sacrificio a Dio, che è per peccato,
25 the priest shall dip his finger in the blood of the victim for sin, touching the horns of the altar of holocaust, and pouring out the remainder at its base.	25 lo prete intingerà lo dito nel sangue suo per lo peccato, e toccherà li corni dell' altare; e tutto l'altro verserà al piede dell' altare.
26 Yet truly, the fat he shall burn upon it, just as is usually done with the victims of peace offerings. And the priest shall pray for him and for his sin, and he shall be released from it.	26 E lo grasso suo arderà sopra, come facea della oblazione ch' era senza peccato; e prega per lui e per lo suo peccato, e Iddio gliel perdonerà.
27 But if a soul from the people of the land will have sinned through ignorance, so as to have done any of those things that the law of the Lord prohibits, and so commit a transgression,	27 Ma se l'anima peccherà per ignoranza, dello popolo della terra, facendo alcuna cosa di quelle che nella legge sono proibite,
28 and he shall realize his sin: he shall offer an immaculate she-goat.	28 ed egli conosca lo suo peccato, offerirà la capra senza macula.
29 And he shall place his hand upon the head of the victim which is for sin. And he shall immolate it in the place of the holocaust.	29 E porrà le sue mani sopra lo capo della capra, la quale è per lo peccato; e offeriralla nel luogo del sacrificio.
30 And the priest shall take some of the blood with his finger, and touching the horns of the altar of holocaust, he shall pour out the remainder at its base.	30 E il prete torrà il suo sangue collo dito, e porranne sopra li corni dell' altare; e tutto l'altro verserae a' piè dell' altare.
31 But taking away all the fat, just as it is usually taken away from the victims of peace offerings, he shall burn it upon the altar as a sweet odor to the Lord. And he shall pray for him, and he shall be released from it.	31 E tutto lo grasso trarrà fuori, come si suole trarre nelli sacrificii che far si suole senza avere peccato; e sì lo porrà sopra l'altare, e arderallo; e sarà a Dio odore soavissimo; e pregherà per lui, e saralli perdonato.
32 But if instead he will offer from the flock a victim for his sin, specifically, an immaculate female sheep:	32 E se delle pecore offerirà a Dio sacrificio per lo suo peccato, faccia che sia pecora senza macula.
33 he shall place his hand upon its head, and he shall immolate it in the place where the victims of holocausts are usually slain.	33 E poralli la mano sua in capo; e offeri rannola in quello luogo dove si sogliono uccidere le oblazioni di sacrificii a Dio.
34 And the priest shall take some of its blood with his finger, and touching the horns of the altar of holocaust, he shall pour out the remainder at its base.	34 Lo prete torrà del sangue col dito suo, e porranne sopra li corni dell' altare del sacrificio; e l'altro verserà al piede dell' altare.
35 Likewise, all of the fat shall be taken away, just as the fat of the ram, which is immolated for peace offerings, is usually taken away. And he shall burn it upon the altar as an incense of the Lord. And he shall pray for him and for his sin, and he shall be released from it.	35 E tutto lo grasso trarrà fuori, come trar si suole lo grasso del montone nelli sacrifici che far si suole senza aver peccato; arderallo sopra l'altare per incenso a Dio; pregherà per lui e per li suoi peccati, e Iddio gli perdonerà (ed esaudirallo).
