Isaiah 35

1 The desolate and impassable land will rejoice, and the place of solitude will exult, and it will flourish like the lily.	1 Η ερημος και η ανυδρος θελουσιν ευφρανθη δι' αυτα, και η ερημια θελει αγαλλιασθη και ανθησει ως ροδον.
2 It will spring up and blossom, and it will exult with rejoicing and praising. The glory of Lebanon has been given to it, with the beauty of Carmel and Sharon. These will see the glory of the Lord and the beauty of our God.	2 Θελει ανθησει εν αφθονια και αγαλλιασθη μαλιστα χαιρουσα και αλαλαζουσα? η δοξα του Λιβανου θελει δοθη εις αυτην, η τιμη του Καρμηλου και Σαρων? οι τοποι ουτοι θελουσιν ιδει την δοξαν του Κυριου και την μεγαλωσυνην του Θεου ημων.
3 Strengthen the lax hands, and confirm the weak knees!	3 Ενισχυσατε τας κεχαυνωμενας χειρας? και στερεωσατε τα παραλελυμενα γονατα.
4 Say to the fainthearted: “Take courage and fear not! Behold, your God will bring the vindication of retribution. God himself will arrive to save you.”	4 Ειπατε προς τους πεφοβισμενους την καρδιαν, Ισχυσατε, μη φοβεισθε? ιδου, ο Θεος σας θελει ελθει μετ' εκδικησεως, ο Θεος μετα ανταποδοσεως? αυτος θελει ελθει και θελει σας σωσει.
5 Then the eyes of the blind will be opened, and the ears of the deaf will be cleared.	5 Τοτε οι οφθαλμοι των τυφλων θελουσιν ανοιχθη και τα ωτα των κωφων θελουσιν ακουσει.
6 Then the disabled will leap like a buck, and the tongue of the mute will be untied. For the waters have burst forth in the desert, and torrents in solitary places.	6 Τοτε ο χωλος θελει πηδα ως ελαφος και η γλωσσα του μογιλαλου θελει ψαλλει? διοτι εν τη ερημω θελουσιν αναβλυσει υδατα και ρευματα εν τη ερημια.
7 And the land that was dry will have a pond, and the thirsty land will have fountains of water. In the hollows where the serpents lived before, there will rise up the greenery of reed and bulrush.	7 Και η ξηρα γη θελει κατασταθη λιμνη και η διψωσα γη πηγαι υδατος? εν τη κατοικια των θωων, οπου εκοιτοντο, θελει εισθαι χλοη μετα καλαμων και σπαρτων.
8 And there shall be a path and a road in that place. And it will be called the Holy Way. The defiled will not pass through it. For this will be an upright path for you, so much so that the foolish will not wander along it.	8 Και εκει θελει εισθαι λεωφορος και οδος και θελει ονομασθη, Οδος αγια? ο ακαθαρτος δεν θελει περασει δι' αυτης αλλα θελει εισθαι δι' αυτους ο οδευων και οι μωροι δεν θελουσι πλανασθαι.
9 There will be no lions in that place, and harmful wild animals will neither climb up to it, nor be found there. Only those who have been freed will walk in that place.	9 Λεων δεν θελει εισθαι εκει και θηριον αρπακτικον δεν θελει αναβη εκει? δεν θελει ευρεθη εκει? αλλα οι λελυτρωμενοι θελουσι περιπατει εκει.
10 And the redeemed of the Lord will be converted, and they will return to Zion with praising. And everlasting joy will be upon their heads. They will obtain gladness and rejoicing. For pain and sorrow will flee away.	10 Και οι λελυτρωμενοι του Κυριου θελουσιν επιστρεψει και ελθει εν αλαλαγμω εις την Σιων? και ευφροσυνη αιωνιος θελει εισθαι επι της κεφαλης αυτων? αγαλλιασιν και ευφροσυνην θελουσιν απολαυσει? η λυπη δε και ο στεναγμος θελουσι φυγει.
