1 Also, he made a brass altar of twenty cubits in length, and of twenty cubits in width, and of ten cubits in height,	1 Fece parimente un altare di bronzo lungo venti cubiti, e largo venti cubiti, e alto dieci.
2 as well as a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in its circumference. It had five cubits in height, and a line of thirty cubits went around it on all sides.	2 E una gran conca di getto, che avea dieci cubiti di diametro da un orlo all'altro, essendo tutta rotonda: cinque cubiti avea di profondità; e una corda di trenta cubiti abbracciava tutto il suo ambito.
3 Also, under it there was the likeness of oxen. And certain engravings encircled the cavity of the sea, along ten cubits of the outside, as if in two rows. Now the oxen were molten.	3 Sotto di essa erano figure di bovi e per dieci cubiti vi erano al di fuori delle scolture divise in due ordini, le quali occupavano l'altezza del mare: ed erano i bovi di un sol getto col mare.
4 And the sea itself was placed upon the twelve oxen, three of which were looking toward the north, and another three toward the west, then another three toward the south, and the three that remained toward the east, having the sea imposed upon them. But the posteriors of the oxen were toward the interior, under the sea.	4 E lo stesso mare posava sopra dodici bovi, tre de' quali eran volti a settentrione, e tre altri ad occidente: tre altri a mezzodì, e gli ultimi tre a levante, e sostenevano il mare: e le parti deretane de' bovi eran di dentro sotto il mare.
5 Now its thickness had the measure of the palm of a hand, and its brim was like the lip of a cup, or like the outturned petal of a lily. And it held three thousand measures.	5 La saldezza del mare era della misura di un palmo, e il suo orlo era come quello di un calice, o di un giglio sbocciato: e capiva tre mila metrete.
6 Also, he made ten basins. And he placed five on the right, and five on the left, so that they might wash in them all the things that they were to offer as holocausts. But the priests were to be washed in the sea.	6 Fece ancora dieci conche: e ne collocò cinque a destra, e cinque a sinistra, affinchè in esse si lavasse tutto quello, che doveva offerirsi in olocausto: nel mare poi si lavavano i sacerdoti.
7 Then he also made ten gold lampstands, according to the form by which they had been ordered to be made. And he set them in the temple, five on the right, and five on the left.	7 E fece ancora dieci candellieri d'oro della forma prescritta: e li pose nel tempio, cinque a destra, e cinque a sinistra.
8 Moreover, there were also ten tables. And he placed them in the temple, five on the right, and five on the left. Also, there were one hundred gold bowls.	8 E parimente dieci mense: e le collocò cinque a destra, e cinque a sinistra: e parimente cento catinelle d'oro.
9 Then too, he made the court of the priests, and a great hall, and doors in the hall, which he covered with brass.	9 Fece ancora l'atrio de' sacerdoti, e il gran portico: e al portico le porte coperte di bronzo.
10 Now he placed the sea on the right side, facing the east, toward the south.	10 Il mare poi lo colloco dal lato destro a mezzodì di chi guarda verso levante.
11 Then Hiram made cooking pots and hooks and bowls. And he completed every work of the king in the house of God,	11 E Hiram fece delle caldaie, delle forchette, e delle catinelle: e compia tutti i lavori del re nella casa di Dio:
12 that is, the two pillars, and the crossbeams, and the heads, and something like a little net, which would cover the heads above the crossbeams,	12 Viene a dire, le due colonne, e gli epistilj, e i capitelli, e certe come reti, che coprivano i capitelli al di sopra de gli epistilj.
13 and also four hundred pomegranates, and two little nets, so that two rows of pomegranates were joined to each net, which would cover the crossbeams and the heads of the pillars.	13 E parimente quattrocento meligranati, e le due reti, talmente che a ciascuna rete andavano uniti due ordini di meligranati, ond'erano coperti gli epistilj, e i capitelli delle colonne.
14 He also made bases; and basins that he placed upon the bases;	14 Fece le basi, e le conche, le quali egli pose sopra le basi:
15 one sea, and twelve oxen under the sea;	15 Il mare, e i dodici bovi sotto il mare;
16 and cooking pots and hooks and bowls. Hiram, his father, made all the vessels for Solomon, in the house of the Lord, from the purest brass.	16 E caldaie, e forchettoni, e catini. E ogni sorta di utensili di bronzo purissimo fece a Salomone Hiram suo padre per la casa del Signore.
17 The king cast these in the region near the Jordan, in the clay soil between Succoth and Zeredah.	17 Il re li fece fondere presso al Giordano in una terra argillosa tra Sochoth, e Saredatha.
18 Now the multitude of the vessels was innumerable, so much so that the weight of the brass was unknown.	18 Or la quantità dei vasi fu innumerabile, talmente che non si sapeva quanto vi fosse andato di bronzo.
19 And Solomon made all the vessels for the house of God, and the gold altar, and the tables upon which were the bread of the presence;	19 E Salomone fece tutti questi vasi della casa di Dio, e l'altare a oro, e le mense, sulle quali si mettevano i pani della proposizione:
20 and also, of the purest gold, the lampstands with their lamps, to shine before the oracle, according to the rite;	20 E parimente i candellieri colle sue lampane d'oro purissimo, affinchè facesser lume dinanzi all'oracolo secondo il rito:
21 and certain flowers, and lamps, and gold tongs. All these were made from the purest gold.	21 E certi fioroni, e lucerne, e molle d'oro: tutte queste cose furon fatte di un oro finissimo.
22 Also, the vessels for the perfumes, and the censers, and the bowls, and the little mortars were from the purest gold. And he engraved the doors of the inner temple, that is, for the Holy of Holies. And the doors of the outer temple were of gold. And so, every work was completed that Solomon made in the house of the Lord.	22 E gli scaldini ancora, e i turiboli, e le catinelle, e i mortaj d'oro finissimo. E le porte del tempio interiore, cioè del Santo de' Santi, erano di intaglio: e le porte del tempio erano d'oro al di fuori. Così furon ridotti a compimento tutti i lavori fatti da Salomone nella casa del Signore.
