¹ Laudes. David. ALEPH. Exaltabo te, Deus meus, rex, et benedicam nomini tuo in saeculum et in saeculum saeculi.	¹ [Hymn of Praise Of David] I shal praise you to the heights, God my King, I shal bless your name forever and ever.
² BETH. Per singulos dies benedicam tibi et laudabo nomen tuum in saeculum et in saeculum saeculi.	² Day after day I shal bless you, I shal praise your name for ever and ever.
³ GHIMEL. Magnus Dominus et laudabilis nimis, et magnitudinis eius non est investigatio.	³ Great is Yahweh and worthy of al praise, his greatness beyond al reckoning.
⁴ DALETH. Generatio generationi laudabit opera tua, et potentiam tuam pronuntiabunt.	⁴ Each age will praise your deeds to the next, proclaiming your mighty works.
⁵ HE. Magnificentiam gloriae maiestatis tuae loquentur et mirabilia tua enarrabunt.	⁵ Your renown is the splendour of your glory, I wil ponder the story of your wonders.
⁶ VAU. Et virtutem terribilium tuorum dicent et magnitudinem tuam narrabunt.	⁶ They will speak of your awesome power, and I shal recount your greatness.
⁷ ZAIN. Memoriam abundantiae suavitatis tuae eructabunt et iustitia tua exsultabunt.	⁷ They will bring out the memory of your great generosity, and joyfully acclaim your saving justice.
⁸ HETH. Miserator et misericors Dominus, longanimis et multae misericordiae.	⁸ Yahweh is tenderness and pity, slow to anger, ful of faithful love.
⁹ TETH. Suavis Dominus universis, et miserationes eius super omnia opera eius.	⁹ Yahweh is generous to al , his tenderness embraces all his creatures.
¹⁰ IOD. Confiteantur tibi, Domine, omnia opera tua; et sancti tui benedicant tibi.	¹⁰ Al your creatures shall thank you, Yahweh, and your faithful shall bless you.
¹¹ CAPH. Gloriam regni tui dicant et potentiam tuam loquantur,	¹¹ They shal speak of the glory of your kingship and tell of your might,
¹² LAMED. ut notas faciant filiis hominum potentias tuas et gloriam magnificentiae regni tui.	¹² making known your mighty deeds to the children of Adam, the glory and majesty of your kingship.
¹³ MEM. Regnum tuum regnum omnium saeculorum, et dominatio tua in omnem generationem et generationem. NUN. Fidelis Dominus in omnibus verbis suis et sanctus in omnibus operibus suis.	¹³ Your kingship is a kingship for ever, your reign lasts from age to age. Yahweh is trustworthy in allhis words, and upright in al his deeds.
¹⁴ SAMECH. Allevat Dominus omnes, qui corruunt, et erigit omnes depressos.	¹⁴ Yahweh supports al who stumble, lifts up those who are bowed down.
¹⁵ AIN. Oculi omnium in te sperant, et tu das illis escam in tempore opportuno.	¹⁵ Al look to you in hope and you feed them with the food of the season.
¹⁶ PHE. Aperis tu manum tuam et imples omne animal in beneplacito.	¹⁶ And, with generous hand, you satisfy the desires of every living creature.
¹⁷ SADE. Iustus Dominus in omnibus viis suis et sanctus in omnibus operibus suis.	¹⁷ Upright in al that he does, Yahweh acts only in faithful love.
¹⁸ COPH. Prope est Dominus omnibus invocantibus eum, omnibus invocantibus eum in veritate.	¹⁸ He is close to al who cal upon him, all who call on him from the heart.
¹⁹ RES. Voluntatem timentium se faciet et deprecationem eorum exaudiet et salvos faciet eos.	¹⁹ He fulfils the desires of al who fear him, he hears their cry and he saves them.
²⁰ SIN. Custodit Dominus omnes diligentes se et omnes peccatores disperdet.	²⁰ Yahweh guards all who love him, but al the wicked he destroys.
²¹ TAU. Laudationem Domini loquetur os meum, et benedicat omnis caro nomini sancto eius in saeculum et in saeculum saeculi.	²¹ My mouth shall always praise Yahweh, let every creature bless his holy name for ever and ever.
