Psalmi 113

NOVA VULGATA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 ALLELUIA. Laudate, pueri Domini, laudate nomen Domini.	1 Al eluia! Praise, servants of Yahweh, praise the name of Yahweh.
2 Sit nomen Domini benedictum ex hoc nunc et usque in saeculum.	2 Blessed be the name of Yahweh, henceforth and for ever.
3 A solis ortu usque ad occasum laudabile nomen Domini.	3 From the rising of the sun to its setting, praised be the name of Yahweh!
4 Excelsus super omnes gentes Dominus, super caelos gloria eius.	4 Supreme over al nations is Yahweh, supreme over the heavens his glory.
5 Quis sicut Dominus Deus noster, qui in altis habitat	5 Who is like Yahweh our God? His throne is set on high,
6 et se inclinat, ut respiciat in caelum et in terram?	6 but he stoops to look down on heaven and earth.
7 Suscitans de terra inopem, de stercore erigens pauperem,	7 He raises the poor from the dust, he lifts the needy from the dunghill,
8 ut collocet eum cum principibus, cum principibus populi sui.	8 to give them a place among princes, among princes of his people.
9 Qui habitare facit sterilem in domo, matrem filiorum laetantem.	9 He lets the barren woman be seated at home, the happy mother of sons.
