1 So then, my brothers and dear friends whom I miss so much, my joy and my crown, hold firm in theLord, dear friends.	1 Przeto, bracia umiłowani, za którymi tęsknię - radości i chwało moja! - tak stójcie mocno w Panu, umiłowani!
2 I urge Euodia, and I urge Syntyche to come to agreement with each other in the Lord;	2 Wzywam Ewodię i wzywam Syntychę, aby były jednomyślne w Panu.
3 and I ask you, Syzygus, real y to be a 'partner' and help them. These women have struggled hard for thegospel with me, along with Clement and al my other fel ow-workers, whose names are written in the book of life.	3 Także proszę i ciebie, prawdziwy Syzygu, pomagaj im, bo one razem ze mną trudziły się dla Ewangelii wraz z Klemensem i pozostałymi moimi współpracownikami, których imiona są w księdze życia.
4 Always be joyful, then, in the Lord; I repeat, be joyful.	4 Radujcie się zawsze w Panu; jeszcze raz powtarzam: radujcie się!
5 Let your good sense be obvious to everybody. The Lord is near.	5 Niech będzie znana wszystkim ludziom wasza wyrozumiała łagodność: Pan jest blisko!
6 Never worry about anything; but tel God all your desires of every kind in prayer and petition shotthrough with gratitude,	6 O nic się już zbytnio nie troskajcie, ale w każdej sprawie wasze prośby przedstawiajcie Bogu w modlitwie i błaganiu z dziękczynieniem!
7 and the peace of God which is beyond our understanding wil guard your hearts and your thoughts inChrist Jesus.	7 A pokój Boży, który przewyższa wszelki umysł, będzie strzegł waszych serc i myśli w Chrystusie Jezusie.
8 Finally, brothers, let your minds be fil ed with everything that is true, everything that is honourable,everything that is upright and pure, everything that we love and admire -- with whatever is good andpraiseworthy.	8 W końcu, bracia, wszystko, co jest prawdziwe, co godne, co sprawiedliwe, co czyste, co miłe, co zasługuje na uznanie: jeśli jest jakąś cnotą i czynem chwalebnym - to miejcie na myśli!

10 As for me, I am full of joy in the Lord, now that at last your consideration for me has blossomed again;though I recognise that you really did have consideration before, but had no opportunity to show it.	10 Także bardzo się ucieszyłem w Panu, że wreszcie rozkwitło wasze staranie o mnie, bo istotnie staraliście się, lecz nie mieliście do tego sposobności.
11 I do not say this because I have lacked anything; I have learnt to manage with whatever I have.	11 Nie mówię tego bynajmniej z powodu niedostatku: ja bowiem nauczyłem się wystarczać sobie w warunkach, w jakich jestem.
12 I know how to live modestly, and I know how to live luxuriously too: in every way now I have masteredthe secret of al conditions: ful stomach and empty stomach, plenty and poverty.	12 Umiem cierpieć biedę, umiem i obfitować. Do wszystkich w ogóle warunków jestem zaprawiony: i być sytym, i głód cierpieć, obfitować i doznawać niedostatku.
13 There is nothing I cannot do in the One who strengthens me.	13 Wszystko mogę w Tym, który mnie umacnia.
14 Al the same, it was good of you to share with me in my hardships.	14 W każdym razie dobrze uczyniliście, biorąc udział w moim ucisku.
15 In the early days of the gospel, as you of Philippi wel know, when I left Macedonia, no church otherthan yourselves made common account with me in the matter of expenditure and receipts. You were the onlyones;	15 Wy, Filipianie, wiecie przecież, że na początku [głoszenia] Ewangelii, gdy opuściłem Macedonię, żaden z Kościołów poza wami jednymi nie prowadził ze mną otwartego rachunku przychodu i rozchodu,
16 and what is more, you have twice sent me what I needed in Thessalonica.	16 bo do Tesaloniki nawet raz i drugi przysłaliście na moje potrzeby.
17 It is not the gift that I value most; what I value is the interest that is mounting up in your account.	17 Mówię zaś to bynajmniej nie dlatego, że pragnę daru, lecz pragnę owocu, który wzrasta na wasze dobro.
18 I have al that I need and more: I am ful y provided, now that I have received from Epaphroditus theoffering that you sent, a pleasing smel , the sacrifice which is acceptable and pleasing to God.	18 Stwierdzam, że wszystko mam, i to w obfitości: jestem w całej pełni zaopatrzony, otrzymawszy przez Epafrodyta od was wdzięczną woń, ofiarę przyjemną, miłą Bogu.
19 And my God will fulfil al your needs out of the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.	19 A Bóg mój według swego bogactwa zaspokoi wspaniale w Chrystusie Jezusie każdą waszą potrzebę.
20 And so glory be to God our Father, for ever and ever. Amen.	20 Bogu zaś i Ojcu naszemu chwała na wieki wieków! Amen.
21 My greetings to every one of God's holy people in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me sendyou their greetings.	21 Pozdrówcie każdego świętego w Chrystusie Jezusie! Pozdrawiają was bracia, którzy są ze mną.
22 Al God's holy people send you their greetings, especially those of Caesar's household.	22 Pozdrawiają was wszyscy święci, zwłaszcza ci z domu Cezara.
