Zechariah 5

NEW JERUSALEM	LA SACRA BIBBIA
1 Again raising my eyes, I had a vision. There was a flying scrol .	1 Alzai di nuovo gli occhi e guardai: ecco un rotolo che volava.
2 The angel who was talking to me said, 'What do you see?' I replied, 'I see a flying scroll; it is twenty cubits long and ten cubits wide.'	2 L'angelo mi domandò: "Che vedi?". Io risposi: "Vedo un rotolo che vola; la sua lunghezza è di venti palmi e la sua larghezza di dieci".
3 He then said to me, 'This is God's curse sweeping across the face of the whole country; for, accordingto what it says on one side, every thief wil be banished and, according to what it says on the other, everyonewho commits perjury in my name wil be banished from it.	3 Egli mi spiegò: "Questa è la maledizione che si diffonde sopra tutto il paese! Perché ogni ladro sarà spazzato via di qui come quel rotolo, e ogni spergiuro sarà spazzato via di qui come quel rotolo.
4 I am going to release it -- Yahweh Sabaoth declares -- for it to enter the house of the thief and ofanyone who commits perjury in my name, for it to settle deep within his house and consume it, timber, stone andal .'	4 Io scatenerò la maledizione, oracolo del Signore degli eserciti, ed essa entrerà nella casa del ladro e nella casa di chi giura il falso nel mio nome; alloggerà in quella casa e la distruggerà con le travi e le pietre!".
5 The angel who was talking to me appeared and said to me, 'Raise your eyes, and see what this is,going along.'	5 L'angelo che mi parlava si avvicinò e mi disse: "Orsù! Alza gli occhi e guarda! Che è ciò che si avvicina?".
6 I said, 'What is it?' He said, 'It is a bushel measure going along.' He went on, 'This is their guiltthroughout the country.'	6 Risposi: "Che cos'è quello?". Mi rispose: "Questa è l'efa che si avvicina". Poi soggiunse: "Questo è il loro peccato in tutto il territorio!".
7 At this, a disc of lead was raised, and I saw a woman sitting inside the barrel.	7 Allora un disco di piombo si sollevò ed ecco una donna sola seduta dentro l'efa.
8 He said, 'This is Wickedness.' And he rammed her back into the barrel and jammed its mouth shut withthe mass of lead.	8 Egli disse: "Questa è l'iniquità!". La ricacciò dentro l'efa e rimise il coperchio di piombo sopra l'apertura.
9 I raised my eyes, and there were two women appearing. The wind caught their wings -- they had wingslike a stork's; they raised the barrel midway between earth and heaven.	9 Alzai gli occhi e guardai. Ecco due donne si avvicinavano; esse avevano il vento alle ali e le loro ali erano come le ali della cicogna. Esse sollevarono l'efa tra il cielo e la terra.
10 I then said to the angel who was talking to me, 'Where are they taking the barrel?'	10 Domandai all'angelo che mi parlava: "Dove portano l'efa, costoro?".
11 He replied, 'To build a temple for it in the land of Shinar and make a pedestal on which to put it.'	11 Mi rispose: "A costruirle una dimora nella terra di Sennaar. Fisseranno un piedistallo e la collocheranno sopra il suo piedistallo".
