1 Sons of Reuben, first-born of Israel. He was indeed the first-born but, when he defiled his father's bed,his birthright was given to the sons of Joseph son of Israel, and he was no longer reckoned as the eldest son.	1 I figliuoli di Ruben primogenito di Israel; esso certo fu primogenito, ma avendo egli contaminato il letto del suo padre, la sua primogenitura fu data ai figliuoli di Iosef figliuolo di Israel, e non fu avuto per suo primogenito.
2 Although Judah grew greater than his brothers and a leader came from him, the birthright wasJoseph's.	2 E di Iuda, il quale era fortissimo tra' suoi fratelli, della sua stirpe nascerono principi; ma la primogenitura fu di Iosef.
3 Sons of Reuben, first-born of Israel: Henoch, Pal u, Hezron, Carmi.	3 Onde gli figliuoli di Ruben, primogenito d' Israel: Enoc e Fallu, Esron e Carmi.
4 Sons of Joel: Shemaiah his son, Gog his son, Shimei his son,	4 I figliuoli di Ioel: Samia suo figliuolo, Gog suo figliuolo, Semei suo figliuolo;

22 Because the war was of God, the slaughter was great. They continued to live in their territory until theexile.	22 E de' feriti morirono molti; però che fu battaglia del Signore. E abitarono per loro insino alla transmigrazione.
23 The sons of the half-tribe of Manasseh lived in the territory between Bashan and Baal-Hermon, Senirand Mount Hermon. They were numerous.	23 E' figliuoli della mezza tribù di Manasse possederono la terra da' confini di Basan insino a Baal, Ermon e Sanir, e il monte Ermon; però ch' era molto grande numero.
24 These were the heads of their families: Epher, Ishi, Eliel, Azriel, Jeremiah, Hodaviah, Jahdiel -- stoutfighting men, men of renown, heads of their families.	24 E questi furono i principi della casa del parentado loro: Efer e Iesi ed Eliel, Ezriel, Ieremia e Odoia e Iediel, uomini fortissimi e potenti, e nominati capitani nelle famiglie loro.

36 Johanan fathered Azariah. He it was who officiated as priest in the Temple which Solomon built inJerusalem.
37 Azariah fathered Amariah, Amariah fathered Ahitub,
38 Ahitub fathered Zadok, Zadok fathered Shallum,
39 Shallum fathered Hilkiah, Hilkiah fathered Azariah,
40 Azariah fathered Seraiah, Seraiah fathered Jehozadak,
41 and Jehozadak went into exile when, at the hands of Nebuchadnezzar, Yahweh exiled Judah andJerusalem.
