1 Moses then gave the Israelites these instructions, just as the LORD had ordered him.	1 POI Mosè parlò a’ Capi delle tribù de’ figliuoli d’Israele, dicendo: Questo è quello che il Signore ha comandato:
2 Moses said to the heads of the Israelite tribes, "This is what the LORD has commanded:	2 Quando alcuno avrà votato un voto al Signore, ovvero avrà giurata alcuna cosa, obbligandosi per obbligazione sopra l’anima sua, non violi la sua parola; faccia interamente secondo ciò che gli sarà uscito di bocca
3 When a man makes a vow to the LORD or binds himself under oath to a pledge of abstinence, he shall not violate his word, but must fulfill exactly the promise he has uttered.	3 E quando una femmina avrà votato un voto al Signore, e si sarà obbligata per obbligazione in casa di suo padre, essendo ancor fanciulla;
4 "When a woman, while still a maiden in her father's house, makes a vow to the LORD, or binds herself to a pledge,	4 se suo padre ha inteso il suo voto, e la sua obbligazione, con la quale ella si è obbligata sopra l’anima sua, e non ne le fa motto; tutti i voti di essa saranno fermi, e ogni obbligazione, con la quale ella si sarà obbligata sopra l’anima sua, sarà ferma.
5 if her father learns of her vow or the pledge to which she bound herself and says nothing to her about it, then any vow or any pledge she has made remains valid.	5 Ma, se suo padre, nel giorno ch’egli avrà intesi tutti i suoi voti, e le sue obbligazioni, con le quali ella si sarà obbligata sopra l’anima sua, la disdice; que’ voti non saranno fermi, e il Signore le perdonerà; conciossiachè suo padre l’abbia disdetta.
6 But if on the day he learns of it her father expresses to her his disapproval, then any vow or any pledge she has made becomes null and void; and the LORD releases her from it, since her father has expressed to her his disapproval.	6 E se pure è maritata, avendo ancora sopra sè i suoi voti, o la promessa fatta con le sue labbra, con la quale si sarà obbligata sopra l’anima sua;
7 "If she marries while under a vow or under a rash pledge to which she bound herself,	7 e il suo marito l’intende, e nel giorno stesso che l’avrà inteso, non ne le fa motto; i voti di essa, e le sue obbligazioni, con le quali si sarà obbligata sopra l’anima sua, saranno ferme.
8 and her husband learns of it, yet says nothing to her that day about it, then the vow or pledge she had made remains valid.	8 Ma, se nel giorno stesso che il suo marito l’avrà inteso, egli la disdice, egli annulla il suo voto ch’ella avea sopra sè, e la promessa fatta con le sue labbra, con la quale ella si era obbligata sopra l’anima sua; e il Signore le perdonerà.
9 But if on the day he learns of it her husband expresses to her his disapproval, he thereby annuls the vow she had made or the rash pledge to which she had bound herself, and the LORD releases her from it.	9 Ma, quant’è al voto della vedova, o della ripudiata, tutto ciò a che si sarà obbligata sopra l’anima sua, sarà fermo contro a lei.
10 The vow of a widow or of a divorced woman, or any pledge to which such a woman binds herself, is valid.	10 E se la donna fa voto, ovvero si obbliga per obbligazione sopra l’anima sua, con giuramento, essendo in casa del suo marito;
11 "If it is in her husband's house that she makes a vow or binds herself under oath to a pledge,	11 e il suo marito l’intende, e non ne le fa motto, e non la disdice, sieno fermi tutti i suoi voti; sia parimente ferma ogni obbligazione, con la quale ella si sarà obbligata sopra l’anima sua.
12 and her husband learns of it yet says nothing to express to her his disapproval, then any vow or any pledge she has made remains valid.	12 Ma se, nel giorno stesso che il suo marito li avrà intesi, egli del tutto li annulla; cosa alcuna che le sia uscita di bocca, o voto, od obbligazione sopra l’anima sua, non sarà ferma; il suo marito ha annullate quelle cose, e il Signore le perdonerà.
13 But if on the day he learns of them her husband annuls them, then whatever she has expressly promised in her vow or in her pledge becomes null and void; since her husband has annulled them, the LORD releases her from them.	13 Il marito di essa ratificherà, o annullerà qualunque voto e qualunque giuramento, col quale ella si sarà obbligata di affliggere l’anima sua.
14 "Any vow or any pledge that she makes under oath to mortify herself, her husband can either allow to remain valid or render null and void.	14 E se pure il suo marito non ne le fa motto d’un giorno all’altro, egli ha ratificati tutti i voti di essa, o qualunque obbligazione ch’ella avea sopra sè; egli li ha ratificati; perciocchè egli non ne le ha fatto motto nel giorno stesso che li ha intesi.
15 But if her husband, day after day, says nothing at all to her about them, he thereby allows as valid any vow or any pledge she has made; he has allowed them to remain valid, because on the day he learned of them he said nothing to her about them.	15 Ma se, appresso averli intesi, del tutto li annulla, egli porterà l’iniquità di essa.
16 If, however, he countermands them some time after he first learned of them, he is responsible for her guilt."	16 Questi sono gli statuti, i quali il Signore comandò a Mosè che si osservassero tra marito e moglie, e tra padre e figliuola, mentre ella è ancor fanciulla in casa di suo padre
17 These are the statutes which the LORD prescribed through Moses concerning the relationship between a husband and his wife, as well as between a father and his daughter while she is still a maiden in her father's house.
