1 After all this was over, those Israelites who had been present went forth to the cities of Judah and smashed the sacred pillars, cut down the sacred poles, and tore down the high places and altars throughout Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim and Manasseh, until all were destroyed. Then the Israelites returned to their various cities, each to his own possession.	1 Ed essendo tutte queste cose ragionevolmente celebrate, uscìo tutto Israel il quale si ritrovò per le cittadi di Giuda; e spezzò le statue, e tagliò i boschi; e disfeceno i luoghi alti e li altari, non solamente di Giuda e di Beniamin, ma d' Efraim e di Manasse, tanto che in tutto li spersono; e ritornarono tutti i figliuoli d' Israel nelle loro possessioni (e case) e cittadi.
2 Hezekiah reestablished the classes of the priests and the Levites according to their former classification, assigning to each priest and Levite his proper service, whether in regard to holocausts or peace offerings, thanksgiving or praise, or ministering in the gates of the encampment of the LORD.	2 Ed Ezechia ordinò le compagnie de' sacerdoti e de' Leviti, cadauno nell' officio suo proprio, agli olocausti e alli pacifichi, acciò che ministrassero e confessassero e cantassero nelle porte delle castella di Dio.
3 From his own wealth the king allotted a portion for holocausts, those of morning and evening and those on sabbaths, new moons and festivals, as prescribed in the law of the LORD.	3 E la parte del re era, che della sua propria sostanza si offerisse sempre olocausto alla mattina e al vespro, nei sabbati e calende e tutte altre solennitadi, sì come è scritto nella legge di Moisè.
4 He also commanded the people living in Jerusalem to provide the support of the priests and Levites, that they might devote themselves entirely to the law of the LORD.	4 E comandò anco al popolo che abitava in Ierusalem, che dessono parte ai sacerdoti e a' Leviti, acciò che potessono vacare alla legge del Signore.
5 As soon as the order was promulgated, the Israelites brought, in great quantities, the best of their grain, wine, oil and honey, and all the produce of the fields; they gave a generous tithe of everything.	5 La quale cosa sonata nelle orecchie della moltitudine, offerirono molte primizie i figliuoli d' Israel, di grano, di vino e d' olio e miele; e di tutte quelle cose, che la terra produce, diedono decima.
6 Israelites and Judahites living in other cities of Judah also brought in tithes of oxen, sheep, and things that had been consecrated to the LORD, their God; these they brought in and set out in heaps.	6 E anco i figliuoli d' Israel e di Giuda, li quali abitavano nelle città di Giuda, offerirono la decima di buoi e di pecore, e la decima de' santi, la quale aveano votata al loro Signore Iddio; e portanti tutte queste cose faceano più monti.
7 It was in the third month that they began to establish these heaps, and they completed them in the seventh month.	7 E nel terzo mese cominciarono a fare i fondamenti de' monti, e nel settimo mese gli compierono.
8 When Hezekiah and the princes had come and seen the heaps, they blessed the LORD and his people Israel.	8 Ed entrato Ezechia e i suoi prìncipi, vedendo quegli monti, benedissero il Signore e il popolo d' Israel.
9 Then Hezekiah questioned the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps,	9 E domandò Ezechia i sacerdoti e Leviti, perchè giaceano così quelli monti.
10 and the priest Azariah, head of the house of Zadoc, answered him, "Since they began to bring the offerings to the house of the LORD, we have eaten to the full and have had much left over, for the LORD has blessed his people. This great supply is what was left over."	10 E Azaria, primo sacerdote della stirpe di Sadoc, gli rispose, dicendo: da poi che si cominciarono a offerire le primizie nella casa del Signore, noi abbiamo mangiato a sazietà, e più cose ci sono rimase, però che il Signore hae benedetto il popolo suo; e questo che voi vedete è l'abbondanza delle reliquie.
11 Hezekiah then gave orders that chambers be constructed in the house of the LORD. When this had been done,	11 E comandò Ezechia, che facessero granari nella casa del Signore. Li quali fatti,
12 the offerings, tithes and consecrated things were deposited there in safekeeping. The overseer of these things was Conaniah the Levite, and his brother Shimei was second in charge.	12 miservi dentro così le primizie come le decime e tutte quelle cose che fedelmente aveano votato; e fu loro prefetto Conenia Levita, e Semei suo fratello secondo.
13 Jehiel, Azaziah, Nahath, Asahel, Jerimoth, Jozabad, Eliel, Ismachiah, Mahath and Benaiah were supervisors subject to Conaniah and his brother Shimei by appointment of King Hezekiah and of Azariah, the prefect of the house of God.	13 Dopo il quale fu Iaiel e Azaria, Naat e Asael e Ierimot e Iozabad, Eliel e Iesmachia e Maat e Banaia, preposti sotto le mani di Conenia e di Semei suo fratello, di comandamento del re Ezechia e di Azaria pontefice della casa di Dio, ai quali appartenea tutte le cose.
14 Kore, the son of Imnah, a Levite and the keeper of the eastern gate, was in charge of the free-will gifts made to God; he distributed the offerings made to the LORD and the most holy of the consecrated things.	14 E Core figliuolo di Iemna, Levita e portiere della porta orientale, era preposto di quelle cose le quali si offeriano di volontà al Signore, delle primizie e delle cose consecrate in SANCTA SANCTORUM.
15 Under him in the priestly cities were Eden, Miniamin, Jeshua, Shemaiah, Amariah and Shecaniah, who faithfully made the distribution to their brethren, great and small alike, according to their classes.	15 E sotto la cura sua erano Eden, Beniamin, Iesue e Semeia e Amaria e Sechenia, nelle città de' sacerdoti, acciò che fedelmente distribuissono ai suoi fratelli le parti, a' maggiori e minori,
16 There was also a register by ancestral houses of males thirty years of age and over, for all priests who were eligible to enter the house of the LORD according to the daily rule to fulfill their service in the order of their classes.	16 fuori che a' maschi di tre anni e sopra (queste cose) anco a tutti quelli che entravano nel tempio del Signore; e tutto quello che per ciascuno dìe conduceano nel ministerio, senza le osservazioni, secondo le loro divisioni,
17 The priests were inscribed in their family records according to their ancestral houses, and the Levites of twenty years and over according to their various offices and classes.	17 a' sacerdoti per famiglie, a' Leviti di Xx anni in suso, per ordine per le loro compagnie,
18 A distribution was also made to all who were inscribed in the family records, for their little ones, wives, sons and daughters--thus for the entire assembly, since they were to sanctify themselves by sharing faithfully in the consecrated things.	18 e a tutta la moltitudine, così alle loro donne, come a' figliuoli maschi e femine, fedelmente erano dati gli cibi, di quelle cose le quali erano santificate.
19 The sons of Aaron, the priests who lived on the lands attached to their cities, had in every city men designated by name to distribute portions to every male among the priests and to every Levite listed in the family records.	19 E de' figliuoli di Aaron, per li campi e per le corti dintorno alle loro cittadi, erano ordinati quelli li quali distribuissono le parti a tutti i maschi de' sacerdoti e de' Leviti.
20 This Hezekiah did in all Judah. He did what was good, upright and faithful before the LORD, his God.	20 E fece Ezechia tutte le cose, le quali noi abbiamo dette, in tutto Giuda; e operò quello che era buono e diritto e vero nel cospetto del suo Signore Iddio,
21 Everything that he undertook, for the service of the house of God or for the law and the commandments, was to do the will of his God. He did this wholeheartedly, and he prospered.	21 in tutto il coltivamento del ministerio della casa di Dio, secondo le leggi e osservanze, volendo andare dopo il suo Signore Iddio con tutto il cuore; e fecelo e fu prosperato (dal Signore Iddio).
