Deuteronomy 15

1 At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release.	1 E il settimo anno sì perdonerai ogni cosa.
2 And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth ought unto his neighbour shall release it;he shall not exact it of his neighbour, or of his brother; because it is called the LORD's release.	2 E questo sarà il modo e) l'ordine che tu terrai: chiunque dee avere alcuna cosa o da suo amico, ovvero da suo prossimo, o da suo fratello, non lo potrà dimandare; imperciò che egli è l'anno nel quale si dee lasciare e perdonare ogni cosa a Dio.
3 Of a foreigner thou mayest exact it again: but that which is thine with thy brother thine hand shall release;	3 Dal peregrino e dal forestiere il richiederai, se ti dee dare alcuna cosa; ma dal tuo cittadino o dal tuo prossimo non avrai signoria di richiedere.
4 Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the LORD shall greatly bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it:	4 E guarda che al tutto nè mendico nè povero si trovi (nè non sarà) tra voi, acciò che Iddio, tuo Signore, ti benedica nella terra la quale egli ti dee dare in possessione.
5 Only if thou carefully hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all these commandments which I command thee this day.	5 E se tu udirai la voce di Dio tuo Signore, e farai tutte quelle cose ch' egli ti comando, e quello ch' io oggi ti comando, egli ti benedicerà, siccome egli t'ha promesso.
6 For the LORD thy God blesseth thee, as he promised thee: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow; and thou shalt reign over many nations,but they shall not reign over thee.	6 Tu presterai danari ad usura a tutte l'altre genti (fuori di te); e tu non piglierai da alcuno pre stanza. Tu signoreggerai a molte (genti e) nazioni; e niuna persona avrà signoria sopra di te.
7 If there be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates in thy land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor shut thine hand from thy poor brother:	7 E se uno de' tuoi fratelli, i quali abitano (e stanno) dentro dalle porte della tua cittade nella terra la quale Iddio tuo Signore ti dee dare, verrà esso in povertà, guarda che il tuo cuore non stia duro contro a lui, e che tu ritraggi la tua mano da lui (e non gli sovvenghi nelle sue necessitadi).
8 But thou shalt open thine hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his need, in that which he wanteth.	8 Ma fa che apri la mano tua al povero, e dara’gli (in presenza di Dio) quello che tu vederai che egli hae bisogno.
9 Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee.	9 E guarda che niuno malo pensiero (nè mal vagio) ti ritragga, e dica nel cuor tuo: ecco che s'approssima il settimo anno che si dee perdonare e lasciare ogni cosa, e per questo volgi gli occhii tuoi dal povero tuo fratello (non facendo quello che ho detto io di sopra), e non gli vuoi tu prestare quello che ti chiede in prestanza, acciò ch' egli non gridi contro a te, e così ti torni in peccato.
10 Thou shalt surely give him, and thine heart shall not be grieved when thou givest unto him: because that for this thing the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all thy works, and in all that thou puttest thine hand unto.	10 Ma fa che tu gliele dea, e non fare alcuna cosa maliziosa, quando gli sovvieni ed esso verrae nelle tue mani però ch' hae bisogno, acciò che Iddio tuo Signore ti benedica d'ogni tempo, e in tutte quelle cose che tu porrai la tua mano.
11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shalt open thine hand wide unto thy brother, to thy poor, and to thy needy, in thy land.	11 Non fia senza poveri la terra che tu abiterai; e però io ti comando che tu apri la mano al tuo fratello (povero, e al) bisognoso e al povero che abita teco nella terra tua (sovverrai a lui nelle sue necessitadi).
12 And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman , be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee.	12 E quando a te sarae venduto il tuo fratello ebreo (il quale sia della tua ischiatta, ovvero da schiatta ebrea) o femina o maschio che sia, e avratti servito sei anni, fa che nel settimo anno il lasci andare liberamente.
13 And when thou sendest him out free from thee, thou shalt not let him go away empty:	13 E colui, il quale tu farai libero, fa che tu guardi ch' egli non si parta da te (senza alcuna cosa o) voto.
14 Thou shalt furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy floor, and out of thy winepress: of that wherewith the LORD thy God hath blessed thee thou shalt give unto him.	14 Ma fa che tu gli dia del tuo bestiame quanto bisogna per via ch' hae ad andare; e dara'gli quello che batti nell'aia tua (cioè della biada), e del tuo vino il quale pigi nelle tue tine, alle quali Iddio tuo Signore avrà benedetto.
15 And thou shalt remember that thou wast a bondman in the land of Egypt, and the LORD thy God redeemed thee: therefore I command thee this thing to day.	15 Ricorditi che tu servisti (e fosti servo) nella terra d'Egitto, e poi Iddio tuo Signore ti liberoe; e però io ti comando.
16 And it shall be, if he say unto thee, I will not go away from thee; because he loveth thee and thine house, because he is well with thee;	16 E se [uno di] questi servi (i quali hai comperati; dopo i sei anni, il settimo anno dica: io non mi voglio partire da te, però ch' egli (ti ama, e) vuole a te bene e alla casa tua (che è santa), però ch' egli sta bene teco;
17 Then thou shalt take an aul, and thrust it through his ear unto the door, and he shall be thy servant for ever. And also unto thy maidservant thou shalt do likewise.	17 piglierai una lesina (è uno ferro sottile e acuto) e forera’gli gli orecchii suoi nella porta della casa tua; e poi ti serva sempre mai; e così farai alla tua serva.
18 It shall not seem hard unto thee, when thou sendest him away free from thee; for he hath been worth a double hired servant to thee, in serving thee six years: and the LORD thy God shall bless thee in all that thou doest.	18 Non volgere gli occhii tuoi da loro, quando gli lascerai andare liberi (che si partiranno da te che ti mostri turbato); imperciò che secondo quello (che dee fare il servo e quello) che tu daresti ad un altro per (prezzo e per) mercede in sei anni t'ha servito; acciò che Iddio, tuo Signore, ti benedica in tutte le operazioni e fatti tuoi.
19 All the firstling males that come of thy herd and of thy flock thou shalt sanctify unto the LORD thy God: thou shalt do no work with the firstling of thy bullock, nor shear the firstling of thy sheep.	19 E tutti quanti gli animali primigeniti i quali nascono nelli tuoi armenti, e delle pecore tue tutti quelli che saranno maschii, santificherai (e offerirai) a Dio tuo Signore. E guarda che non faccia (arare, nè) operare alcuna cosa, il primogenito che nasce al bue; e non tonderai i primigeniti (ciò sono agnelli) che nascono delle pecore.
20 Thou shalt eat it before the LORD thy God year by year in the place which the LORD shall choose, thou and thy household.	20 (Dinanzi e) in presenza di Dio, tuo Signore, li mangerai ogni anno, tu e la tua famiglia, in quello luogo il quale eleggerà Iddio tuo Signore.
21 And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or have any ill blemish, thou shalt not sacrifice it unto the LORD thy God.	21 E se egli averà macchia alcuna (cioè che sia di diversi colori) ovvero flancato o cieco, ovvero in alcuna parte sozzo e debole, non lo sacrificherai (e non lo offererai) a Dio tuo Signore.
22 Thou shalt eat it within thy gates: the unclean and the clean person shall eat it alike, as the roebuck, and as the hart.	22 Ma dentro dalle porte della tua cittade sì lo mangerai: così quello che è mondo, come quello che è immondo, così gli mangeranno, come lo ca priolo e il cervio.
23 Only thou shalt not eat the blood thereof; thou shalt pour it upon the ground as water.	23 Questo solamente osserverai (e farai, cioè) che tu non mangerai il loro sangue; ma gittalo in terra, siccome fosse acqua.
