Zechariah 5

1 Then I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll.	1 De nouveau je regarde, et voici ce que je vois:
2 And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits.	2 un rouleau dans les airs. L’ange me dit: “Que vois-tu?” Je réponds: “Je vois un rouleau qui vole, il a 10 mètres de long et 5 de large.”
3 Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it.	3 L’ange me dit: “C’est une malédiction qui va se répandre sur tout le pays. Il y est écrit que tout voleur sera balayé loin d’ici. Il y est encore écrit que celui qui jure sera balayé d’ici.
4 I will bring it forth, saith the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof.	4 J’ai lancé cette malédiction, dit Yahvé Sabaot, pour qu’elle vienne sur la maison du voleur et sur la maison de celui qui jure par mon Nom afin de cacher ses mensonges; elle s’arrêtera dans sa maison, et elle en dévorera le bois et les pierres.”
5 Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.	5 De nouveau l’ange prend la parole: “Lève les yeux et regarde ce qui approche.” Je demande: “Qu’est-ce que c’est?”
6 And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah that goeth forth. He said moreover, This is their resemblance through all the earth.	6 Il me dit: “C’est une mesure pour peser le grain.” Il ajoute: “C’est par là que tous pèchent dans ce pays.”
7 And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead: and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah.	7 Alors se soulève un disque de plomb et l’on voit une femme assise dans la mesure à peser le grain.
8 And he said, This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah; and he cast the weight of lead upon the mouth thereof.	8 L’ange me dit: “C’est la malhonnêteté.” Puis il la repousse à l’intérieur de la mesure et il en bouche l’ouverture avec la masse de plomb.
9 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind was in their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork: and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven.	9 Alors sous mes yeux se présentent deux femmes avec des ailes de cigognes; le vent enfle leurs ailes et elles enlèvent la mesure entre terre et ciel.
10 Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah?	10 Je dis alors à l’ange qui me parlait: “Où donc ces femmes emportent-elles la mesure?”
11 And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon her own base.	11 Il me répond: “Elles vont lui construire un temple dans la terre de Chinéar; on lui fera un piédestal pour la poser dessus.”
