Psalms 146

1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.	1 ALLELUIA. Anima mia, loda il Signore.
2 While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.	2 Io loderò il Signore, mentre viverò; Io salmeggerò al mio Dio, mentre durerò.
3 Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.	3 Non vi confidate in principi, Nè in alcun figliuol d’uomo, che non ha modo di salvare.
4 His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.	4 Il suo fiato uscirà, ed egli se ne ritornerà nella sua terra; In quel dì periranno i suoi disegni
5 Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:	5 Beato colui che ha l’Iddio di Giacobbe in suo aiuto, La cui speranza è nel Signore Iddio suo
6 Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:	6 Il quale ha fatto il cielo e la terra, Il mare, e tutto ciò ch’è in essi; Che osserva la fede in eterno;
7 Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:	7 Il qual fa ragione agli oppressati; E dà del cibo agli affamati. Il Signore scioglie i prigioni.
8 The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:	8 Il Signore apre gli occhi a’ ciechi; Il Signore rileva quelli che son chinati; Il Signore ama i giusti.
9 The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.	9 Il Signore guarda i forestieri; Egli solleva l’orfano e la vedova; E sovverte la via degli empi.
10 The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.	10 Il Signore regna in eterno, E il tuo Dio, o Sion, per ogni età. Alleluia
