1 These are the sons of Israel; Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,	1 I figliuoli d' Israel: Ruben e Simeon, Levi, Giuda, Issacar, Zabulon,
2 Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.	2 e Dan, Iosef e Beniamin, Neftali e Gad e Aser.
3 The sons of Judah; Er, and Onan, and Shelah: which three were born unto him of the daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, the firstborn of Judah, was evil in the sight of the LORD; and he slew him.	3 I figliuoli di Giuda: Er, Onan e Sela; questi tre nascerono della figliuola di Sue di Canaan. E fu il primogenito di Giuda, Er, malvagio nel cospetto di Dio; ed egli l'uccise.
4 And Tamar his daughter in law bare him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah were five.	4 E Tamar, sua nuora, sì gli partorì Fares e Zara: tutti adunque i figliuoli di Giuda furono cinque.
5 The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.	5 I figliuoli di Fares: Esron e Amul.
6 And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.	6 I figliuoli di Zara: Zamri ed Etan ed Eman e Calcal, e Dara: tutti furono cinque (i figliuoli di Zara).
7 And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.	7 Il figliuolo di Carmi: Acar, il quale turbò Israel, e peccò nel furto iscomunicato.
8 And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.	8 Il figliuolo di Etam: Azaria.
9 The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.	9 I figliuoli di Esron, i quali gli nascerono, furono Ieramael e Ram e Calubi.
10 And Ram begat Amminadab; and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;	10 E Ram generò Aminadab; e Aminadab generd Naasson, principe de' figliuoli di Giuda.
11 And Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,	11 E Naasson generò Salma, del quale nacque Booz.
12 And Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse,	12 Booz generò Obed, il quale generò Isai.
13 And Jesse begat his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,	13 Isai generò Eliab suo primogenito, il secondo Abinadab, il terzo Simmaa,

16 Whose sisters were Zeruiah, and Abigail. And the sons of Zeruiah; Abishai, and Joab, and Asahel, three.	16 Le sorelle de' quali furono Sarvia e Abigail. I figliuoli di Sarvia: Abisai, Ioab, e Asael.
17 And Abigail bare Amasa: and the father of Amasa was Jether the Ishmeelite.	17 E Abigail generò Amasa, del quale il padre fu Ieter, Ismaelita.
18 And Caleb the son of Hezron begat children of Azubah his wife, and of Jerioth: her sons are these; Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.	18 E Caleb figliuolo di Esron (figliuolo di Fares) tolse moglie, la quale avea nome Azuba, della quale generò Ieriot: e i figliuoli suoi furono laser e Sobab e Ardon.
19 And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.	19 Ed essendo morta Asuba, tolse Caleb per moglie Efrata (sorella di Moisè), la quale partorì a lui Ur, (il quale sostenne le mani di Moisè nel deserto).
20 And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.	20 E Ur genero Uri; e Uri generò Bezeleel (il quale fece il tabernacolo).
21 And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.	21 E dopo queste cose Esron entrò alla figliuola di Machir (figliuolo del) padre di Galaad; e tolsela, avendo egli sessanta anni; la quale gli partori Segub.
22 And Segub begat Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.	22 E Segub generò Iair, il quale (entrò nella terra della promissione, e per la sua moglie Machir) possedette XXIII cittadi nella terra di Galaad.
23 And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.	23 E prese Gessur (per ragione di battaglia) e Aram, città di Iair, e Canat, e gli suoi borghetti di LX cittadi; tutti questi, figliuoli di Machir, padre di Galaad.
24 And after that Hezron was dead in Caleb-ephratah, then Abiah Hezron's wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa.	24 E morto Esron, Caleb entrò a Efrata. Ed ebbe Esron, Abia per moglie, la quale gli partorì Asur padre di Tecua.
25 And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were, Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.	25 E nascerono figliuoli di Ierameel, primogenito di Esron: Ram suo primogenito [e Buna e Aram e Asom] e Achia.
26 Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.	26 E Ierameel menò un' altra moglie, la quale avea nome Atara; la quale fu madre di Onam.
27 And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were, Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.	27 E figliuoli di Ram, primogenito di Ierameel, furono Moos e Iamin e Acar.
28 And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadab, and Abishur.	28 E Onam ebbe figliuoli Semei e Iada. Figliuoli di Semei: Nadab e Abisur.
29 And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.	29 Il nome della mogliere di Abisur, Abiail, la quale partori Aobban e Molid.
30 And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children.	30 E' figliuoli di Nadab furono Saled e Affaim; e morio Saled senza figliuoli.
31 And the sons of Appaim; Ishi. And the sons of Ishi; Sheshan. And the children of Sheshan; Ahlai.	31 Il figliuolo di Afaim, Iesi; il quale generò Sesan; e Sesan generè Oolai.
32 And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.	32 E i figliuoli di Giada fratello di Semei: Ieter e Ionatan; Ieter morìo senza figliuoli.
33 And the sons of Jonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.	33 E Ionatan generò Falet e Ziza; e questi sono i figliuoli di Ierameel.
34 Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.	34 E Sesan non ebbe figliuoli, ma ebbe figliuole, e uno servo egizio che avea nome Ieraa.
35 And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.	35 E diedegli la sua figliuola per moglie; la quale gli partorì Etei.
36 And Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,	36 Elei generò Natan; e Natan generò Zabad.
37 And Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,	37 E Zabad generò Oflal; e Oflal generò Obed.
38 And Obed begat Jehu, and Jehu begat Azariah,	38 E Obed generò Ieu; e Ieu generò Azaria.
39 And Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,	39 E Azaria generò Elles; ed Elles generò Elasa.
40 And Eleasah begat Sisamai, and Sisamai begat Shallum,	40 Ed Elasa generò Sisamoi, Sisamoi generò Sellum.
41 And Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.	41 E Sellum generò Icamia; e Icamia generò Elisama.
42 Now the sons of Caleb the brother of Jerahmeel were, Mesha his firstborn, which was the father of Ziph; and the sons of Mareshah the father of Hebron.	42 E' figliuoli di Caleb fratello di Ierameel: Mesa suo primogenito; egli fu padre di Zif; e' figliuoli di Maresa padre di Ebron.
43 And the sons of Hebron; Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.	43 Ma i figliuoli di Ebron: Core e Tafua e Recem e Samma.
44 And Shema begat Raham, the father of Jorkoam: and Rekem begat Shammai.	44 Samma generò Raam, padre dl Iercaam; e Recem generò Sammai.
45 And the son of Shammai was Maon: and Maon was the father of Beth-zur.	45 E il figliuolo di Sammai fu Maon, padre di Betsur.
46 And Ephah, Caleb's concubine, bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez: and Haran begat Gazez.	46 Ed Efa, concubina di Caleb, (generò e) partorì Aran e Mosa e Gezez; e Aran generò Gezez.
47 And the sons of Jahdai; Regem, and Jotham, and Geshan, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.	47 I figliuoli di Iaaddai: Regom e Ioatan, Gesan e Falet ed Efa e Saaf.
48 Maachah, Caleb's concubine, bare Sheber, and Tirhanah.	48 La concubina di Caleb, Maaca, partorì Saber e Tarana.
49 She bare also Shaaph the father of Madmannah, Sheva the father of Machbenah, and the father of Gibea: and the daughter of Caleb was Achsah.	49 E generò Saaf, padre di Madmena, Sue, padre di Macbena e padre di Gabaa. La figliuola di Caleb fu Acsa.
50 These were the sons of Caleb the son of Hur, the firstborn of Ephratah; Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim,	50 Questi erano i figliuoli di Caleb,.figliuolo di Ur, primogenito di Efrata; Sobal padre di Cariatiarim.
51 Salma the father of Bethlehem, Hareph the father of Beth-gader.	51 Salma padre di Betleem, e Arif padre di Betgader.
52 And Shobal the father of Kirjath-jearim had sons; Haroeh, and half of the Manahethites.	52 E furono i figliuoli di Sobal, padre di Cariatiarim, i quali dividevano la metà de' riposi.
53 And the families of Kirjath-jearim; the Ithrites, and the Puhites, and the Shumathites, and the Mishraites; of them came the Zareathites, and the Eshtaulites.	53 E della parentela di Cariatiarim: Ietrei, Afutei, Sematei, e Maserei; e di costoro uscirono gli Saraiti e gli Estaoliti.
54 The sons of Salma; Bethlehem, and the Netophathites, Ataroth, the house of Joab, and half of the Manahethites, the Zorites.	54 I figliuoli di Salma: Betleem e Netofati corone della casa di Ioab, e mezzo del riposo di Sarai.
55 And the families of the scribes which dwelt at Jabez; the Tirathites, the Shimeathites, and Suchathites. These are the Kenites that came of Hemath, the father of the house of Rechab.	55 E' parentadi degli scribi, che abitavano in Iabes, cantanti e sonanti e dimoranti nelli tabernacoli. Questi sono gli Cinei, i quali vennero del caldo del padre della casa di Recab.
