BIBBIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Alleluia. Cantate al Signore un canto nuovo; la sua lode nell'assemblea dei fedeli.	1 Al eluia! Sing a new song to Yahweh: his praise in the assembly of the faithful!
2 Gioisca Israele nel suo Creatore, esultino nel loro Re i figli di Sion.	2 Israel shall rejoice in its Maker, the children of Zion delight in their king;
3 Lodino il suo nome con danze, con timpani e cetre gli cantino inni.	3 they shal dance in praise of his name, play to him on tambourines and harp!
4 Il Signore ama il suo popolo, incorona gli umili di vittoria.	4 For Yahweh loves his people, he will crown the humble with salvation.
5 Esultino i fedeli nella gloria, sorgano lieti dai loro giacigli.	5 The faithful exult in glory, shout for joy as they worship him,
6 Le lodi di Dio sulla loro bocca e la spada a due tagli nelle loro mani,	6 praising God to the heights with their voices, a two-edged sword in their hands,
7 per compiere la vendetta tra i popoli e punire le genti;	7 to wreak vengeance on the nations, punishment on the peoples,
8 per stringere in catene i loro capi, i loro nobili in ceppi di ferro;	8 to load their kings with chains and their nobles with iron fetters,
9 per eseguire su di essi il giudizio già scritto: questa è la gloria per tutti i suoi fedeli. Alleluia.	9 to execute on them the judgement passed -- to the honour of al his faithful.
