JERUSALEM	KING JAMES BIBLE
1 Moïse et les anciens d'Israël donnèrent cet ordre au peuple: "Gardez tous lescommandements que je vous prescris aujourd'hui.	1 And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this day.
2 Lorsque vous passerez le Jourdain pour vous rendre au pays que Yahvé ton Dieu te donne, tudresseras de grandes pierres, tu les enduiras de chaux	2 And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Jordan unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaister them with plaister:
3 et tu écriras toutes les paroles de cette Loi, au moment où tu passeras pour entrer dans laterre que Yahvé ton Dieu te donne, terre qui ruisselle de lait et de miel, comme te l'a dit Yahvé le Dieu de tespères.	3 And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee.
4 Et lorsque vous aurez passé le Jourdain, vous dresserez ces pierres sur le mont Ebal, commeje vous l'ordonne aujourd'hui, et vous les enduirez de chaux.	4 Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, that ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister.
5 Tu y édifieras pour Yahvé ton Dieu un autel, avec des pierres que le fer n'aura pastravaillées.	5 And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up any iron tool upon them.
6 C'est de pierres brutes que tu édifieras l'autel de Yahvé ton Dieu, et c'est sur cet autel que tuoffriras des holocaustes pour Yahvé ton Dieu,	6 Thou shalt build the altar of the LORD thy God of whole stones: and thou shalt offer burnt offerings thereon unto the LORD thy God:
7 que tu immoleras des sacrifices de communion, que tu mangeras sur place, et tu te réjouirasen présence de Yahvé ton Dieu.	7 And thou shalt offer peace offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before the LORD thy God.
8 Tu écriras sur ces pierres toutes les paroles de cette Loi: grave-les bien."	8 And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.
9 Puis Moïse et les prêtres lévites dirent à tout Israël: "Fais silence et écoute, Israël.Aujourd'hui tu es devenu un peuple pour Yahvé ton Dieu.	9 And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.
10 Tu écouteras la voix de Yahvé ton Dieu, et tu mettras en pratique les commandements et leslois que je te prescris aujourd'hui."	10 Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.
11 Et Moïse, en ce jour, donna alors cet ordre au peuple:	11 And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,
12 "Lorsque vous aurez passé le Jourdain, voici ceux qui se tiendront sur le mont Garizim pourbénir le peuple: Siméon et Lévi, Juda et Issachar, Joseph et Benjamin.	12 These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:
13 Et voici ceux qui se tiendront sur le mont Ebal pour la malédiction: Ruben, Gad et Asher,Zabulon, Dan et Nephtali.	13 And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.
14 Les lévites prendront la parole et diront à voix haute à tous les Israélites:	14 And the Levites shall speak, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice,
15 Maudit soit l'homme qui fait une idole sculptée ou fondue, abomination pour Yahvé, oeuvrede mains d'artisan, et la place en un lieu caché. -- Et tout le peuple répondra et dira: Amen.	15 Cursed be the man that maketh any graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth it in a secret place. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.
16 Maudit soit celui qui traite indignement son père et sa mère. -- Et tout le peuple dira: Amen.	16 Cursed be he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
17 Maudit soit celui qui déplace la borne de son prochain. -- Et tout le peuple dira: Amen.	17 Cursed be he that removeth his neighbour's landmark. And all the people shall say, Amen.
18 Maudit soit celui qui égare un aveugle en chemin. -- Et tout le peuple dira: Amen.	18 Cursed be he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.
19 Maudit soit celui qui fait dévier le droit de l'étranger, de l'orphelin et de la veuve. -- Et toutle peuple dira: Amen.	19 Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.
20 Maudit soit celui qui couche avec la femme de son père, car il retire d'elle le pan dumanteau de son père. -- Et tout le peuple dira: Amen.	20 Cursed be he that lieth with his father's wife; because he uncovereth his father's skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.
21 Maudit soit celui qui couche avec quelque bête que ce soit. -- Et tout le peuple dira: Amen.	21 Cursed be he that lieth with any manner of beast. And all the people shall say, Amen.
22 Maudit soit celui qui couche avec sa soeur, fille de son père ou fille de sa mère. -- Et tout lepeuple dira: Amen.	22 Cursed be he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.
23 Maudit soit celui qui couche avec sa belle-mère. -- Et tout le peuple dira: Amen.	23 Cursed be he that lieth with his mother in law. And all the people shall say, Amen.
24 Maudit soit celui qui frappe en secret son prochain. -- Et tout le peuple dira: Amen.	24 Cursed be he that smiteth his neighbour secretly. And all the people shall say, Amen.
25 Maudit soit celui qui accepte un présent pour frapper mortellement une vie innocente. -- Ettout le peuple dira: Amen.	25 Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen.
26 Maudit soit celui qui ne maintient pas en vigueur les paroles de cette Loi pour les mettre enpratique. -- Et tout le peuple dira: Amen."	26 Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.
