EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	DOUAI-RHEIMS
1 Ich wäre zu erreichen gewesen für die, die nicht nach mir fragten, ich wäre zu finden gewesen für die, die nicht nach mir suchten. Ich sagte zu einem Volk, das meinen Namen nicht anrief: Hier bin ich, hier bin ich.	1 They have sought me that before asked not for me, they have found me that sought me not. I said: Behold me, behold me, to a nation that did not call upon my name.
2 Den ganzen Tag streckte ich meine Hände aus nach einem abtrünnigen Volk, das einen Weg ging, der nicht gut war, nach seinen eigenen Plänen,	2 I have spread forth my hands all the day to an unbelieving people, who walk in a way that is not good after their own thoughts.
3 nach einem Volk, das in seinem Trotz mich ständig ärgert. Sie bringen Schlachtopfer dar in Gärten und Rauchopfer auf Ziegeln;	3 A people that continually provoke me to anger before my face: that immolate in gardens, and sacrifice upon bricks.
4 sie sitzen in Grabkammern und verbringen die Nächte in Höhlen; sie essen das Fleisch von Schweinen und haben Brühe von verdorbenem Fleisch in ihren Töpfen;	4 That dwell in sepulchres, and sleep in the temple of idols: that eat swine's flesh, and profane broth is in their vessels.
5 sie sagen: Bleib, wo du bist, komm mir nicht nahe, sonst bist du geweiht. Diese Menschen sind wie Rauch in meiner Nase, wie ein immer brennendes Feuer.	5 That say: Depart from me, come not near me, because thou art unclean: these shall be smoke in my anger, a fire burning all the day.
6 Seht her, alles ist aufgeschrieben bei mir und ich werde nicht schweigen, sondern zahle ihnen heim, wie sie es verdienen;	6 Behold it is written before me: I will not be silent, but I will render and repay into their bosom.
7 ich zahle ihnen den Lohn aus für ihre Schuld und die Schuld ihrer Väter, spricht der Herr. Weil sie auf den Bergen Weihrauch verbrannten und mich auf den Hügeln verhöhnten,messe ich ihnen ihren Lohn zu und zahle ihnen heim, wie sie es verdienen.	7 Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, saith the Lord, who have sacrificed upon the mountains, and have reproached me upon the hills; and I will measure back their first work in their bosom.
8 So spricht der Herr: Sobald sich Saft in der Traube findet, sagt man: Verdirb sie nicht, denn es ist Segen darin. Ebenso will ich um meiner Knechte willen handeln, um nicht alle vernichten zu müssen.	8 Thus saith the Lord: As if a grain be found in a cluster, and it be said: Destroy it not, because it is a blessing: so will I do for the sake of my servants, that I may not destroy the whole.
9 Ich lasse aus Jakob Nachkommen hervorgehen und aus Juda einen Erben für meine Berge.Meine Auserwählten sollen das Land besitzen und meine Knechte sollen dort wohnen.	9 And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Juda a possessor of my mountains: and my elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
10 Für mein Volk, das nach mir fragt, wird dann (die Ebene) Scharon zur Schafweide und das Achortal zum Lagerplatz der Rinder.	10 And the plains shall be turned to folds of hocks, and the valley of Achor into a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.
11 Euch aber, die ihr den Herrn verlassen, meinen heiligen Berg vergessen, dem Glücksgott den Tisch gedeckt und dem Gott des Schicksals den Weinkrug gefüllt habt,	11 And you, that have forsaken the Lord, that have forgotten my holy mount, that set a table for fortune, and offer libations upon it,
12 überantworte ich dem Schwert: Ihr müsst euch alle ducken und werdet geschlachtet.Denn ihr gabt keine Antwort, als ich euch rief, als ich zu euch redete, hörtet ihr nicht, sondern ihr habt getan, was mir missfällt, und habt euch für das entschieden, was ich nicht will.	12 I will number you in the sword, and you shall all fall by slaughter: because I called and you did not answer: I spoke, and you did not hear: and you did evil in my eyes, and you have chosen the things that displease me.
13 Darum - so spricht Gott, der Herr: Meine Knechte sollen essen, doch ihr leidet Hunger. Meine Knechte sollen trinken, doch ihr leidet Durst. Meine Knechte sollen sich freuen, doch ihr müsst euch schämen.	13 Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Behold my servants shall eat, and you shall be hungry: behold my servants shall drink, and you shall be thirsty.
14 Meine Knechte sollen aus Herzenslust jubeln, doch ihr werdet schreien vor Herzeleid und heulen vor Verzweiflung.	14 Behold my servants shall rejoice, and you shall be confounded: behold my servants shall praise for joyfulness of heart, and you shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for grief of spirit.
15 Ihr müsst euren Namen dazu hergeben, dass meine Auserwählten ihn beim Eid als Fluchwort gebrauchen und sagen: Genauso töte dich Gott, der Herr. Meinen Knechten aber wird man einen anderen Namen geben.	15 And you shall leave your name for an execration to my elect: and the Lord God shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name.
16 Wer sich segnet im Land, wird sich Segen wünschen von Gott, dem Getreuen, und wer schwört im Land, wird schwören bei Gott, dem Getreuen. Ja, vergessen sind die früheren Nöte, sie sind meinen Augen entschwunden.	16 In which he that is blessed upon the earth, shall be blessed in God, amen: and he that sweareth in the earth, shall swear by God, amen: because the former distresses are forgotten, and because they are hid from my eyes.
17 Denn schon erschaffe ich einen neuen Himmel und eine neue Erde. Man wird nicht mehr an das Frühere denken, es kommt niemand mehr in den Sinn.	17 For behold I create new heavens, and a new earth: and the former things shall not be in remembrance, and they shell not come upon the heart.
18 Nein, ihr sollt euch ohne Ende freuen und jubeln über das, was ich erschaffe. Denn ich mache aus Jerusalem Jubel und aus seinen Einwohnern Freude.	18 But you shall be glad and rejoice for ever in these things, which I create: for behold I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, end the people thereof joy.
19 Ich will über Jerusalem jubeln und mich freuen über mein Volk. Nie mehr hört man dort lautes Weinen und lautes Klagen.	19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people, and the voice of weeping shall no more be heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
20 Dort gibt es keinen Säugling mehr, der nur wenige Tage lebt, und keinen Greis, der nicht das volle Alter erreicht; wer als Hundertjähriger stirbt, gilt noch als jung, und wer nicht hundert Jahre alt wird, gilt als verflucht.	20 There shall no more be an infant of days there, nor an old man that shall not fill up his days: for the child shall die a hundred years old, and the sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed.
21 Sie werden Häuser bauen und selbst darin wohnen, sie werden Reben pflanzen und selbst ihre Früchte genießen.	21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruits of them.
22 Sie bauen nicht, damit ein anderer in ihrem Haus wohnt, und sie pflanzen nicht, damit ein anderer die Früchte genießt. In meinem Volk werden die Menschen so alt wie die Bäume. Was meine Auserwählten mit eigenen Händen erarbeitet haben, werden sie selber verbrauchen.	22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree, so shall be the days of my people, and the works of their hands shall be of long continuance.
23 Sie arbeiten nicht mehr vergebens, sie bringen nicht Kinder zur Welt für einen jähen Tod.Denn sie sind die Nachkommen der vom Herrn Gesegneten und ihre Sprösslinge zusammen mit ihnen.	23 My elect shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth in trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the Lord, and their posterity with them.
24 Schon ehe sie rufen, gebe ich Antwort, während sie noch reden, erhöre ich sie.	24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will hear; as they are yet speaking, I will hear.
25 Wolf und Lamm weiden zusammen, der Löwe frisst Stroh wie das Rind [doch die Schlange nährt sich von Staub]. Man tut nichts Böses mehr und begeht kein Verbrechen auf meinem ganzen heiligen Berg, spricht der Herr.	25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together; the lion and the ox shall eat straw; and dust shall be the serpent's food: they shall not hurt nor kill in all my holy mountain, saith the Lord.
