1 Cantico di Maalot. BEATO chiunque teme il Signore, E cammina nelle sue vie.	1 [Song of Ascents] How blessed are al who fear Yahweh, who walk in his ways!
2 Perciocchè tu mangerai della fatica delle tue mani; Tu sarai beato, ed egli ti sarà bene.	2 Your own labours wil yield you a living, happy and prosperous will you be.
3 La tua moglie sarà dentro della tua casa Come una vigna fruttifera; I tuoi figliuoli saranno d’intorno alla tua tavola, Come piante novelle di ulivi.	3 Your wife a fruitful vine in the inner places of your house. Your children round your table like shootsof an olive tree.
4 Ecco, certamente così sarà benedetto L’uomo che teme il Signore.	4 Such are the blessings that fal on those who fear Yahweh.
5 Il Signore ti benedirà di Sion; E tu vedrai il bene di Gerusalemme Tutti i giorni della tua vita;	5 May Yahweh bless you from Zion! May you see Jerusalem prosper al the days of your life,
6 E vedrai i figliuoli de’ tuoi figliuoli. Pace sia sopra Israele	6 and live to see your children's children! Peace to Israel!
