¹ Alleluia.Lodate il nome del Signore,lodatelo, servi del Signore,	¹ Hallelujah! Praise the name of the LORD! Praise, you servants of the LORD,
² voi che state nella casa del Signore,negli atri della casa del nostro Dio.	² Who stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God!
³ Lodate il Signore, perché il Signore è buono;cantate inni al suo nome, perché è amabile.	³ Praise the LORD; the LORD is good! Sing to God's name; it is gracious!
⁴ Il Signore si è scelto Giacobbe,Israele come sua proprietà.	⁴ For the LORD has chosen Jacob, Israel as a treasured possession.
⁵ Sì, riconosco che il Signore è grande,il Signore nostro più di tutti gli dèi.	⁵ I know that the LORD is great, our Lord is greater than all gods.
⁶ Tutto ciò che vuoleil Signore lo compie in cielo e sulla terra,nei mari e in tutti gli abissi.	⁶ Whatever the LORD wishes he does in heaven and on earth, in the seas and in all the deeps.
⁷ Fa salire le nubi dall’estremità della terra,produce le folgori per la pioggia,dalle sue riserve libera il vento.	⁷ He raises storm clouds from the end of the earth, makes lightning and rain, brings forth wind from the storehouse.
⁸ Egli colpì i primogeniti d’Egitto,dagli uomini fino al bestiame.	⁸ He struck down Egypt's firstborn, human and beast alike,
⁹ Mandò segni e prodigiin mezzo a te, Egitto,contro il faraone e tutti i suoi ministri.	⁹ And sent signs and portents against you, Egypt, against Pharaoh and all his servants.
¹⁰ Colpì numerose nazionie uccise sovrani potenti:	¹⁰ The Lord struck down many nations, slew mighty kings--
¹¹ Sicon, re degli Amorrei,Og, re di Basan,e tutti i regni di Canaan.	¹¹ Sihon, king of the Amorites, Og, king of Bashan, all the kings of Canaan--
¹² Diede in eredità la loro terra,in eredità a Israele suo popolo.	¹² And made their land a heritage, a heritage for Israel his people.
¹³ Signore, il tuo nome è per sempre;Signore, il tuo ricordo di generazione in generazione.	¹³ O LORD, your name is forever, your renown, from age to age!
¹⁴ Sì, il Signore fa giustizia al suo popoloe dei suoi servi ha compassione.	¹⁴ For the LORD defends his people, shows mercy to his servants.
¹⁵ Gli idoli delle nazioni sono argento e oro,opera delle mani dell’uomo.	¹⁵ The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of human hands.
¹⁶ Hanno bocca e non parlano,hanno occhi e non vedono,	¹⁶ They have mouths but speak not; they have eyes but see not;
¹⁷ hanno orecchi e non odono;no, non c’è respiro nella loro bocca.	¹⁷ They have ears but hear not; no breath is in their mouths.
¹⁸ Diventi come loro chi li fabbricae chiunque in essi confida.	¹⁸ Their makers shall be like them, all who trust in them.
¹⁹ Benedici il Signore, casa d’Israele;benedici il Signore, casa di Aronne;	¹⁹ House of Israel, bless the LORD! House of Aaron, bless the LORD!
²⁰ benedici il Signore, casa di Levi;voi che temete il Signore, benedite il Signore.	²⁰ House of Levi, bless the LORD! You who fear the LORD, bless the LORD!
²¹ Da Sion, benedetto il Signore,che abita in Gerusalemme!Alleluia.	²¹ Blessed from Zion be the LORD, who dwells in Jerusalem! Hallelujah!
