EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	NEW AMERICAN BIBLE
1 Salmo de Asaf. Dios se levanta en la asamblea divina y juzga en medio de los dioses;	1 A psalm of Asaph. God rises in the divine council, gives judgment in the midst of the gods.
2 «¿Hasta cuándo juzgarán injustamente y favorecerán a los malvados?	2 "How long will you judge unjustly and favor the cause of the wicked? Selah
3 ¡Defiendan al desvalido y al huérfano, hagan justicia al oprimido y al pobre;	3 Defend the lowly and fatherless; render justice to the afflicted and needy.
4 libren al débil y al indigente, rescátenlos del poder de los impíos!».	4 Rescue the lowly and poor; deliver them from the hand of the wicked."
5 Pero ellos caminan en la oscuridad, faltos de inteligencia y comprensión, mientras vacilan los fundamentos de la tierra.	5 The gods neither know nor understand, wandering about in darkness, and all the world's foundations shake.
6 Yo había pensado: «Ustedes son dioses, todos son hijos del Altísimo».	6 I declare: "Gods though you be, offspring of the Most High all of you,
7 Pero morirán como cualquier hombre, caerán como cualquiera de los príncipes.	7 Yet like any mortal you shall die; like any prince you shall fall."
8 Levántate, oh Dios, juzga a la tierra, porque tú eres el dueño de todas las naciones.	8 Arise, O God, judge the earth, for yours are all the nations.
