¹ Del maestro de coro. De David. Canto.	¹ For the leader. A psalm of David. A song.
² A ti, oh Dios, te corresponde un canto de alabanza en Sión, y todos tienen que cumplir sus votos,	² To you we owe our hymn of praise, O God on Zion; To you our vows must be fulfilled,
³ porque tú escuchas las plegarias. A ti acuden todos los hombres	³ you who hear our prayers. To you all flesh must come
⁴ bajo el peso de sus culpas; nuestras faltas nos abruman, pero tú las perdonas.	⁴ with its burden of wicked deeds. We are overcome by our sins; only you can pardon them.
⁵ Feliz el que tú eliges y atraes para que viva en tus atrios: ¡que nos saciemos con los bienes de tu Casa, con los dones sagrados de tu Templo!	⁵ Happy the chosen ones you bring to dwell in your courts. May we be filled with the good things of your house, the blessings of your holy temple!
⁶ Por tu justicia, Dios, salvador nuestro, nos respondes con obras admirables: tú eres la esperanza de los confines de la tierra y de las islas más remotas.	⁶ You answer us with awesome deeds of justice, O God our savior, The hope of all the ends of the earth and of far distant islands.
⁷ Tú afianzas las montañas con tu poder, revestido de fortaleza;	⁷ You are robed in power, you set up the mountains by your might.
⁸ acallas el rugido de los mares, el estruendo de las olas y el tumulto de los pueblos.	⁸ You still the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, the tumult of the peoples.
⁹ Los que habitan en las tierras más lejanas temen tus obras prodigiosas; tú haces que canten de alegría el oriente y el occidente.	⁹ Distant peoples stand in awe of your marvels; east and west you make resound with joy.
¹⁰ Visitas la tierra, la haces fértil y la colmas de riquezas; los canales de Dios desbordan de agua, y así preparas sus trigales:	¹⁰ You visit the earth and water it, make it abundantly fertile. God's stream is filled with water; with it you supply the world with grain. Thus do you prepare the earth:
¹¹ riegas los surcos de la tierra, emparejas sus terrones; la ablandas con aguaceros y bendices sus brotes.	¹¹ you drench plowed furrows, and level their ridges. With showers you keep the ground soft, blessing its young sprouts.
¹² Tú coronas el año con tus bienes, y a tu paso rebosa la abundancia;	¹² You adorn the year with your bounty; your paths drip with fruitful rain.
¹³ rebosan los pastos del desierto y las colinas se ciñen de alegría.	¹³ The untilled meadows also drip; the hills are robed with joy.
¹⁴ Las praderas se cubren de rebaños y los valles se revisten de trigo: todos ellos aclaman y cantan.	¹⁴ The pastures are clothed with flocks, the valleys blanketed with grain; they cheer and sing for joy.
